« Overall really nice. It was clean and had extra towels/blankets and adequate kitchen. Plenty of space. Wifi was fine. It had fair AC and water. The washer dryer worked and she even left us enough soap for a few loads. The neighborhood was nice and we even went on a walk around to walk my dog. Would absolutely book again. Its about 1.5 hours to get to Chicago for a visit depending on the area. It also has some nice restraunts in the nearby towns. We also had a change of plans and she...

« Perfect location for me and my husband. Had plenty of room and an extra bedroom that we didn't use. Our second stay here and will use it again. »

« This was a good place to stay. Beds were comfortable, kitchen and bathrooms stocked with supplies. The steps to the unit needed to be cleaned better. A couple of convenient outlets need to be fixed to work. »

« Great location. Plenty of parking. Right on the Rock River. Very clean. Lots of outside seating on the decks. Lots of towels, though we couldn’t find them at first. They were in the dining room credenza. The house is pretty well stocked with supplies. The host is very friendly and responsive. Would stay there again. »

« Well maintained; Owner was responsive when we had questions. When the coffee maker didn't work, a new one was delivered the same day! Very convienient to Starved Rock, Buffalo Rock and Matthiessen State Parks. Enjoyed the fire pit out back in the private yard. »

« This was a beautiful bungalow That had everything I needed And was also dog friendly. The location was on a busy street but it wasn't Off putting. It was a short drive to the state park and an easy walk into downtown for restaurants It was nice to have a garage to park in and there was a back deck to hang out on. « We really enjoyed staying at this property. The house was clean and well stocked, there were even amenities for our pups like bowls, pick up bags, treats and toys! It's so hard to find a property that takes larger dogs, but this was not a problem here. The fenced yard was perfect for late night let outs and running around. The location is perfect for accessing Starved Rock and Mathiessen state parks with a very useful write up of different hikes at Starved Rock provided in our welcome materials....
