« It's a nice apartment, cheaply but competently renovated. There were cobwebs around when we arrived but otherwise it was clean. The beds are VERY nice, extremely comfortable which is so important. My biggest gripe, something not demonstrated in the listing, is the fact that the property directly borders an actve train teack, and when i say it's right outside I mean it is RIGHT outside. I was kept up the entire night one of the nights of our stay because of a pair of trains stopping and starting...

« Exact to the listing. Close to the state parks, but the weather went a little south on us, so we just stayed in and enjoyed the peace (we have 5 kids that didn’t come with :). We’ll be back! »

« I appreciated the prompt and courteous interactions with the host while I stayed at the property for a workshop. Location was so convenient. The studio was thoughtfully appointed and prettily decorated. It was a cozy and inviting space. »

« We needed to book at trip at the last minute (2 days before, with dogs) and was very happy to find this available! The unit was just as expected and very clean. Beds were very comfortable. The location is walking distance to downtown Yorkeville (great food/bars, walking, etc) but also a park 2 blocks in the other direction so the dogs were very happy. Although we didn't use it, there was a garage we could have parked in. Check in went smoothly and communication with the Owner was easy. Check...

« visiting my family and having my own hime base was so nice. the apartment isna cool experience of an old building revitalized the bed was a little soft for my liking but the rest was perfect for my needs. it was lovely to be able to look out to the water. »

« Property was well-groomed and taken care of very clean. The extra bonuses like coffee, creamer, condiments et cetera were a great surprise. Spoke with the owner about getting different internet. Coverage from cellphone towers was not that great. I will definitely be staying at this property again when I'm in the area. »

« We found this place a few years ago and loved it. When we realized it was open for a last minute Mother’s Day weekend trip we jumped on it. What a great place. Unique, interesting, with plenty of room for everyone. We’ll be happy to stay again in the future. »

« This property was a major disappointment. The photos are heavily edited and don’t reflect the reality—shaky toilets, torn blinds, uncomfortable beds, and a serious bug problem made the stay unpleasant. The stairs are steep and unsafe, and the home is hard to access. The water behind the house is stagnant and only adds to the mosquito issue. Not worth the high price—would not recommend. »

"Hotel convenable, mais sans plus et surtout j'ai payé plus cher pour avoir un lit king et à l'arrivée on m'a dit que c'était impossible et qu'on ne pouvait pas me rembourser l'extra. Le personnel aussi était vraiment pas agréable et aidant."

"L’hôtel est joli mais les restaurants et la piscine étaient fermés sans que nous soyons avertis au préalable. De plus notre réservation était avec petit déjeuner inclus mais arrivé à l’hôtel ils nous ont dit que ce n’était pas inclus. Même pas un café à la réception ni de cafetière dans la chambre."
