« We had a great stay at the Bourbon Oak Smokehouse. Robert and family were quick to communicate, both with guidance about the house and about things to do and places to go in Bardstown. The house was neat and clean, and while there are imperfections, they simply add to the charm of a historic home. The house is within a short drive (though it can definitely be walked) to downtown Bardstown with all its shops, bars, and restaurants. « Property served our needs while visiting family nearby. The property was easy to find and the kids enjoyed being able to give treats to the farm animals. The home stayed very warm during our stay and hot water was never a problem. Everything we needed was found in the home and the host was very gracious when it came to a couple of broken glasses. »
