« Whipsaw was quiet and back in the woods, which is just what we wanted. We would have loved to enjoy the beautiful porches more but the cool temperatures did not allow. We appreciated the very comfortable beds and crisp sheets and slept so good after long days of caving and exploring the area. The drive to cave tours was longer than we expected, but not terrible and a beautiful drive back through the national park or along the parkway. « Someone really went the extra mile when decorating this house. It feels magical, especially outside with the pond, waterfall, fireplace and deck. The host got back to us almost instantly whenever we had a question. My only small complaint was the beds upstairs could be better. Would definitely stay here again. It was also 15 min from Mammoth Caves so that was super convenient. »

And the FRESH baked homemade cinnamon rolls made to order and hand delivered by the owners son is just the cutest and most perfect add to their country setting. « Clean sheets left on top of one of the beds and I just put them on the dresser and yes, there was everything we needed to cook. It was a wonderful experience. »

« Property was clean & private in a secluded area with a glassed in porch which was great. However, there was something moldy smelling that caused my allergies to start as soon as I walked in the door. Also, the shower is tiny with very little water pressure. I made the place work but will not be renting there again. »
