« Its Willoughby Spit which i personally love, but its not VA Beach and what i mean by that is its not touristy, its a working class neighborhood with a beach. You can walk right to it from this unit. Not as private as i would like but a good location. Unit was very clean, comfy bed, hot water, coffee maker, fridge. To have a table you have to know its a drop leaf table the TV is on. Works fine. Able tonset up and use my laptop as wifi was good too. »

« This is not a cottage. It is a multifamily duplex. The owners live on the upper floor, and the bottom is the rental. We had chosen this place thinking it was a single family house. We wanted a quiet home where our toddlers could get good naps and any nighttime crying wouldn’t disturb anyone. Disappointing.The kitchen is tiny and sparsely equipped. « The hosts were very communicative and welcoming before, during, and after our stay. The front yard was well lit, and good for taking our pups out at night. I was grateful to find somewhere available over Christmas that accepted two dogs. The kitchen was well-equipped and reasonably clean. This is a pet-friendy rental near the beach, the overall cleanliness of the unit was perhaps reflective of that. The house is right off of a busy road in a neighborhood with varied levels of upkeep. »

« Its very very worn and basic things don’t work. Like the dryer, doors, locks, water faucets, lights, etc. There is not a door on the third bedroom. The kitchen is not well stocked, at all. With a rating of 4.9, most would expect the basic things to work. Had a nice stay, but will never book that location again. »

« This was the most amazing stay. We had such a good time and when we decided to extend our stay by a day the owners worked with us to get everything set. Also they were really great at communicating and answering questions. I have never stayed at a VRBO before and this was definitely a great first experience. Definitely recommend.
