« This is a great lakehouse in a great location. We stayed just after the "off-season" began, the second week of September, so there were more locals than tourists and less activity in the establishments and at the sand bar, which was just fine by us. We cooked in the cabin, grilled on the deck, used the fire pit and went to the sand bar each day with the small boat we took there. « Great location close to Torch Lake and Charlevoix. The cottage had everything we needed although we didn’t spend much time there because we were mostly out and about. We had a little trouble with the keypad but the host was very responsive. We would stay again if we want to be close to torch lake but it was a little pricey compared to other places we have stayed up north. »

« Great location close to where we were enjoying some outdoor recreation. Place was fine and we did stay on one of the coldest weekends which made for some chilly nights. The house could not get warmer than 52 degrees on both nights with subzero temperatures. One was -22 air temp so we get it. A few better seals around the front door and some better windows would go along way in keeping down the heating costs. »

« Great location! Just across from Anderson Market, Lyla’s Restaurant and Hop Lot, walkable to town. Adjacent to a nice little park for kids and dogs. Second time staying at this cute basic cottage. We will stay again but I hope it will be a bit cleaner. All bedding was clean and we slept well. Floors and cobwebs were the issue but tolerable. The host was excellent and responsive to TV and internet issues. »
