« Really enjoyed our stay here! So peaceful and secluded. The chalet was very clean. It’s spacious and cozy. Loved the large windows facing the lake and the fireplace! The upstairs loft has 2 queen beds, a bathroom and some furniture which was perfect for my parents who came with us. Right on the snowmobile trail which is what we came for. Carole kept in touch to make sure we didn’t need anything. Definitely would stay here again! »

« Just as described. Perfectly cozy, well appointed and so close to skiing! The hosts thought of everything you need for a great stay. Super clean, all kitchenware beautiful and bathroom items in great condition. Highly recommend this spot for a stay at Shanty Creek!! »

« We had an amazing stay at Shanty Creek Resort! The home was perfect for my family of 10 there was more than enough room for everyone to be comfortable, and the location was ideal with the slopes just a few minutes’ drive away. The host was fantastic and very responsive to any questions we had, which made the whole experience even better. This place was a 10 out of 10, and we would absolutely stay here again! »

« We had a fantastic stay! The property was very clean and easy to access, which made everything stress-free from the start. Angelo was incredibly quick to respond and very helpful throughout our stay. The location is great—convenient yet tucked away in a quiet neighborhood. A huge bonus for us was the driveway, which was perfect for parking our 20’ trailer with no issues at all. Overall, this place exceeded our expectations and is highly recommended. We would definitely stay here again! »

« There were nails sticking out of the trim by the bathroom and one of us ripped a shirt on them. Stains on the mattress cover in one room. A dirty old razor on the floor next to the vanity. Only two jets in the hot tub worked. »

« We were at all times able to communicate with the host about even the smallest requests or questions! That is certainly peace of mind! The beds were comfy, there were plenty of extra blankets if needed, the kitchen is not lacking anything! The hot tub was wonderful, clean, and enjoyable! The coffee pot is a higher end drip coffee pot and filters were available as well as coffee and creamer, sugar! A tea kettle was also available for me! The living space is great if you all want to hang out...

« House and amenities were great. Only suggestion is to warn that the long driveway to the house has some steep hills which can be difficult in the winter. »
