« Host was very responsive and the view was amazing. As stated in other reviews the house and furniture were dated. This is not the ritz and you do have stairs but we truly enjoyed our stay. Beach was very accessible (yes lots of stairs) we felt it was good value for the price. The pool and hot tub looked great but we didn’t use them. A couple of notes I have not seen in other reviews, linens are provided but you make your own beds when you get there. They do that so you know the sheets are...

« We had a wonderful family holiday getaway. The house is beautifully decorated and has a warm, modern vibe that made us feel right at home. There was plenty of space for our family of five to relax, play, and enjoy time together. The hosts were incredibly responsive and helpful when we encountered two very minor hiccups. We truly enjoyed our stay and look forward to returning soon! »

« The house was great alternative to a hotel because we have 2 miniature dachshunds and we enjoyed being able to be so close to downtown, take them into the yard, not worry about the occassional bark, etc. The house was neat, clean and the process was extremely easy. These old, historic houses are interesting because they are "old", but that adds to the charm. We were very happy with our stay and recommend this property and April to anyone visiting New Bern. It's also right across from the Police...

« We were a family of 10 staying here for a week for Thanksgiving. We had the best time ,it was so comfortable and you felt so welcomed. Amy was very accommodating for anything I asked for. The house was beautiful. The kitchen was stocked with anything you would need to cook a Thanksgiving meal. The bedrooms had the most comfortable mattresses. There was no problem sleeping. The weather was great and we definitely hope to come back. »
