« We wanted to stay in a “country oasis” for the most part we got that. Our host provided cow feed which proved to be a hit amongst the kids. « Loved having a big, clean house! No weird smells, plenty of bathrooms and bedrooms. And the views are beautiful. the sheep and lambs outside were adorable to watch. Communication could’ve been better with the host, but our issue was handled in the end. It was perfect for my group‘s needs as it was located perfectly near Scarborough Renaissance Faire. As a group of all women, we felt perfectly safe too as we were far away from the road, with the gate security and the large livestock dogs nearby....

« Not as advertised. Several problems with our stay. First was that we received notice from the host the night before our stay that there the hot water was not working. Being the holidays and having grandparents from Houston and grandchildren from Lubbock and us from Dallas traveling to meet, there were no last minute options so we spent 3 days in the 50’s with no running hot water. The property also advertised as having a spa &/or hot tub which was not true. The wood floors were coming up...

« Our stay was very nice. The location was very convenient for going to the local dinosaur attractions. The host was very nice and hospitable. The only problem with the stay was the rooms were located on the second floor and the bathroom is on the first floor, but this was more of a physical problem since getting older stairs are a little more difficult to traverse, and having to get up in the middle of the night to "go" was tricky. « We had a wonderful stay! The house was incredibly clean, beautifully maintained, and perfect for our group. The property itself was gorgeous and thoughtfully set up for our guests. It comfortably fit around 20 people, with multiple rooms and separate houses that made it perfect for large groups.We were in town to celebrate our wedding, and the home fit our bridal party and immediate family perfectly. The covered pavilion was a huge plus—it was the perfect spot for hosting our rehearsal dinner...
