« We returned to find our room door wide open. They did not clean the room, remove used towels, or give us clean ones. No hot water for showers all three days. Call front desk no answer. Personal visit to front desk person was rude and only said about the water that a work order would be placed. We finally called the owner, because they said no money back for leaving two days earlier than booked. Owner gave us two days back and rate lower because of cold water for three days. Thankful owner...

« Atv riding with the kids was definitely a highlight. Plenty of trails and amazing views from the top of the mountain. Saw wild elk one day while hiking on a trail up by the Blue Ridge Parkway. Caught crawfish in the stream also. Definitely coming back soon. »

« Our extended family of 8 had a fantastic long weekend at the lodge. The place has a great space to hang together by a fire - great kitchen to have snacks and easy to prepare meals. The space around the house was a lot of fun to walk around -- everyone had a great time. Even went to the around the corner golf club to have a nice sit down lunch. Very nice setup. »
