« The house is located in a quiet residential area, close to shopping and restaurants. We found the house to be small, but clean and cozy, decorated in a fun retro theme. We didn't utilize the kitchen for cooking, but we appreciated the well-stocked coffee bar and the basket of snacks (which we gobbled up); along with a sweet note from the hosts. It looked like they had quite a few convenient kids items like a crib, stroller, high chair, but we didn't utilze these. The back outdoor space is small...

The location made it quick and easy to get to HyVee, restaurants and campus. David was an excellent host that answered any question we had right away. »

« close to downtown Ames and about a mile or so from Iowa State Campus. Location was convenient and quiet. Upstairs apartment was clean and well organized with a full size refrigerator, microwave and 4 burner stove. Plates, bowls, silverware, scissors and steak knives were there to make it convenient to cook if I wanted. Susan (the owner) was easy to reach via VRBO app messaging and was always quick to respond.
