« The Baker Farm house was beautiful and cozy. It was clean, well equipped and the location was wonderful. My daughter and her husband were able to bring their dogs which was great. The hosts were friendly, respectful and responsive to our inquiries and needs. I highly recommend the Baker Farm House. »

« It's our 5th stay as a family with two growing kids, the oldest is now 12 and still enjoys visits to the farm. There's something very special about this farm stay and I'm sure we'll be returning again. We always love feeding the animals, relaxing on the porch, listening to the creek and the animals. We got to use the sauna this trip and that was quite the lovely experience, especially as a thunderstorm rolled through. »

« This was a great place for living the pioneer lifestyle and learning firsthand the challenges, realities, and benefits of slowing down to non-electric and non-refrigeration times. The facility was as advertised and the host Walton was very helpful but not intrusive. If you are interested in helping around the farm, be sure to ask. There's always plenty to do. Great do-it-yourself experience. »

« It was a short stay but would stay longer if the opportunity would arise. The chickens greeted us and they are beautiful. The place was very lovely and clean. Great place to visit. If you are from the city, you would enjoy the country. »

« This was the PERFECT stay in the mountains of NC. The farmhouse was so cute and put together well for our stay-we even had farm fresh eggs! I loved having a laundry room as well. The stocked game shack for the kids did not disappoint either. What a clever addition! The property is absolutely beautiful. You can hike to the summit and other parts of the farm for breathtaking mountain views. One evening, we were lucky enough to see fireflies taking over the night sky on one of the trails. We did...

« This was such a great place for our family. We could look out the window and see horses. We loved it. It was just after Christmas and we were visiting my sister and her family so we wanted a place where we could all sit down and have a meal. And this place is perfect and so lovely. Just as described, clean, easy to access and the host was amazing, even checked in with us after we arrived to ask if there was anything else we needed. We have family in this area, we will stay here again! »

« Such a well decorated farmhouse with a large wrap-around porch with plenty of outdoor rockers. The location was convenient for visiting Sparta and Stone Mountain State Park.Clara was excellent providing information for our stay at her farmhouse.My husband and I hope to come again, as well as our daughter and 2 young grandsons. »

« Ideal location for a group motorcycle ride - a block off "The Green Eyed Snake" (highway 421); one of my all-time favorite roads. Also, many other great motorcycle roads in the area. We used the fire pit every night to relive the day's ride. »
