« Had a lovely stay for the month of July. First time we have done a month away—My .Husband is a fly fisherman and the Boardman river was steps away. The Boardman is one of the Blue Ribbon fishing streams in Michigan. The Property was well stocked and had been totally redone. It is a quiet getaway tucked in the woods on the River. It is 11 miles to a great family friendly beach in Traverse City called Bryant Park so you have the river and quiet and then you are very accessible to traverse...

« This was a nice quite location in the country. We had concert tickets at Interlochen and it was only about 15 minutes away. We are also bicycle enthusiast and it was a nice location to drive to both Frankfurt and Glenn Arbor which both have beautiful bike trails. Also, close to Traverse City! Amanda was great! She even introduced me to her horse and donkey on the property. I would not hesitate to rebook the next time we are in the Traverse City area! »

« Cabin was perfect for what we needed. My son enjoyed fishing off the dock. My daughter loved swimming in the lake. Great location and cabin had everything we needed for the week. »

« Location was perfect. It was pleasant to sit on the patio and overlook the lake. Cabin was clean and nicely decorated. The only negative was the Sulphur smell of the well water. We spent most time outside or driving around anyway. Bring bottled water to drink and make coffee. Also, the futon was super hard to sleep on. Probably fine for kids. My sibling said the bed was comfy. »

« This is a very family friendly home, my pup had so much room to run around freely without his leash. It’s a very private location, child friendly and we felt safe the whole time. « The property was nice, but not easy to get to the waterfront. The stairs did not all have railings or were buried in vines; pathway washed out, so hard to climb up to house or down to water.The deck was nice but hard to see the bay and outdoor dining table was too big so could not sit at the sides - only the ends and had to go out different doors to access each table end. »

« My husband and I just got back yesterday from our five night stay at this lovely home. Nathan could not have been nicer and left a local bottle of wine in the fridge for us. This home is 2bedrooms and 2bathrooms and right on the beach. The furnishings are updated and comfortable, and all the things you could want. Nice appliances in great working order, a hot tub and sauna, and the best view in a peaceful setting. This home is located just far enough away to be out of the way, but only 10...

« It’s been several years since we last rented this property and the new owners knock it out of the park! Pet friendly is an understatement - basket of helpful items for your dog during the stay like things to lie down on is appreciated. There is even a basket for the human guests should they forget/need common toiletries. And a well stocked Keurig for morning coffee or tea.Cottage is clean and comfortable with modern bedroom furniture- nightstands with usb and standard outlets are great. Nice...

« The house was amazing. Very cozy, home away from home feeling. The beds were comfortable, plenty of fans (not needed in late August), and more than enough cooking and dinning materials. We loved the yard and beach access. The kids really enjoyed the floating dock to jump into the lake, loved the kayaks and peddle boat. Having access to a motor boat was awesome, decent fishing (small Walleye) about 100 yards off the beach. Would love to stay here again (shh dont tell anyone else about this gem!) »

« Shannon was an excellent and responsive host and the photos were accurate. I stayed with my family (5 adults, 3 kids) for 1 week. I would not recommend this home for many more people than that because of the 1.5 bath and would not recommend any one use the sofa beds. »
