« The property was just as described in the listing. Shannon was a pleasure to meet & work with. Met us at the property & showed us around. Gave us some good suggestions on restaurants & provided a great 'Welcoming Basket'. House was convenient to all the distilleries & Keeneland which is what we were there for. Will definitely stay there again! »

« The house is a charming farmhouse with that neat blend of old-style charm and modern convenience. It feels like out in the countryside, but only a short drive to anything. The rooms are comfortable, the kitchen well supplied, and there's a few games and toys for kiddos (plus tv and wifi), with lots of yard to explore. The owner, who lives in a separate home on property is friendly and helpful! Loved our stay! »

« The Hager Hideaway is in the middle of everything and is a quiet, restorative oasis on its own. The 1830's farmhouse is absolutely charming and very cozy. We could have spent the entire weekend exploring Harrodsburg, but Bardstown is only an hour away via scenic back roads (less if via the Bluegrass Parkway), so we HAD to spend a day there. « We had such a great time at this property. The house was perfect for our stay with lots of room to spread out. Everything was super clean, the bedrooms were clean and so comfortable. We loved the location and the privacy. We would definitely stay here again. »

« Roomy clean house. Large comfy family room. Comfy beds. We were impressed that 6 of us could take a shower and 6th person still had hot water. Sandy easy to reach. It's out in the country. Enjoyed a newborn donkey. Large dining table for our card games. Would recommend. »
