« This is our new favorite property in St. Charles. Between the location, size of the space and the designated parking spot, we will definitely be staying here again! »

« Place could use some updating. Ice maker in fridge did not work and the bottom drawer was a big block of ice. The door handle was broken, and I would not use the pots and pans to cook with. I think the cleaners can only do so much! It was clean but the outdated ness makes it look not clean. Lots of noise from the upper apartment? If you stay in this basement apartment. « Over all, our stay was fine. I didn’t know about St. Charles’s night life until I checked in. It was kind of noisy until about 2:00 AM each night. But no real problems. When I left the unit Sunday morning, I used the ramp and was swarmed by some kind of bees or wasps. I didn’t get stung but you all need to check that out. »

« Unit was clean, everything that was advertised was there. However it was 82 degrees in the unit when we were checking in. The ceiling fans don’t move much air, we had to purchase a box fan to cool the unit down. »

« Th e location was excellent. We were right next to the Katy Trail and within walking distance to downtown Defiance. There is plenty of shade for sitting outside and relaxing. My only warning is that you need to be able to climb up and down a ladder to access the beds. There are several nice wineries just a short drive away. »

« Pros: Location! Walking distance to cafes, bars, stores, the farmers market, etc. The beds are super comfortable and the kitchen is well appointed and spacious. FYI - the small bedroom pictured on the main floor is right above a gym. Our guests in that room could definitely hear music and people working out, especially early in the morning. « Good location with an easy walk to downtown shops. Communication and flexibility on checking in was very good and much appreciated. Apartment worked out great for my trip thru Herman. »

« The house is just as pictured. It served as a great home base during a soccer tournament. Centrally located, great location. The beds and bedding were comfortable. The house was wonderfully cool during the summer heat wave. Well stocked kitchen to easily prepare meals for our family. »

« Room was very clean with little to no issues at all. Host was super easy to work with and get information from. This spot is within 15-20minutes OR LESS to anything you’d need to do in the ofallon and surrounding areas. I’d book it again if I needed to. »

« Wonderful location, host, and amenities. This was the perfect stay for a weekend away. We enjoyed the downtown shops and walking along the river. The kitchen had everything, and the shower was fantastic. Learning about the history of the suite and appreciation for restoring its beauty was appreciated. Highly recommend and would stay here again or any of their other properties. »
