« Our room was clean and comfortable. We loved the location of the property to the downtown area. We stayed here during Washington’s Art and Wine Fest which was all within walking distance. There is a steep hill coming up to the property but there is a public parking lot just below on Front street so you can drive down and park there if you want to walk around town and then drive up the hill upon your return to Elijah’s. « The area and the cabin were outstanding . We go to Augusta frequently but never stayed at an VRBO. Unfortunately there was no hot water and the bathroom sink drained very slowly . Other than that we really enjoyed this cabin ! It was affordable and very quaint .Nice and quiet and easy in and out and walkable sights close by . Would stay again !! »

« Hosts were great, helpful and responsive. The Home is amazingly historic and so certainly has its limits, but it should not mean it cannot be warm and comfortable with decor and furnishings. There is no HVAC upstairs so space heaters were fussy to maintain and keep on with timers, etc. There is only two lamps in the home, so all rooms rely on ceiling fan lights - which are effective but do not allow a more relaxed evening or early morning atmosphere. « Everything was as described on the posting and the pictures were accurate. It was a last minute booking for us so this was one of the most reasonable priced ones we found. Check in and check out was a breeze. We just needed a place to stay for one night for the 13 of us adults and kids so this was it. It met our expectations and we would book again if we ever had to stay in the area. »

Appears the carpet under the beds has not been vacuumed in a bit with the dust, dead bugs and cobwebs. Had my wife not dropped an ear ring, would never have noticed so not a big thing. »

If I could rate it a 20 out of 10 I would. We will stay again if available next time!! There were home laid eggs, snacks, water, etc. The atmosphere was wonderful!! »
