« The home is beautiful it is quiet and super close to town which made it very convenient! We got to see baby birds, bunny rabbits, and deer on the property almost daily. I would like to address some of the other reviews of this property just to clarify for anyone new. Yes the owner lives on site in a camper next to the home while the home is being rented out. It does not specifically say that in the listing but that is accurate. We didn't even hear her. She was very respectfuland courteous but...

« This home is in a perfect location to explore The Black Hills region. With the second floor game/tv room and The Great Room layout, there was plenty of room for our large group to spread out when needed. The grandkids loved the hot tub and the professional grade air hockey table, which hosted many competitions. The front porch sitting area was perfect for enjoying a cup of coffee, sunrise and a beautiful view. The owner lives directly behind the home in his detached workshop/apartment and is...

« Absolutely amazing place with the best host! Met us at the property to show us around, along with sharing some of the great places to eat & visit. Great location - close to all the “must see’s” South Dakota has to offer. Will definitely be back! »

« Our stay was perfect. Everything was spotless. Kitchen was well stocked. Beds were comfy. We were traveling with our small dog and with a small fee she was allowed to stay. There is a grassy yard for play and potty. She even spotted a bunny in the grass.
The location was quiet and centrally located to everything we wanted to see and do. It was about 10 minutes to the town of Custer. In town there was a good grocery store as well as restaurants.
Our interaction with the hosts was minimal...

« Overall this was a good stay. There were a few kitchen items that need replaced and would have been nice to have. Check in and check out was very smooth. Communication was good. There was a dirty sheet covered in crumbs on the pull out couch when we went to use it on our first night. Easy enough fix, as the guests before us failed to take off that sheet themselves. »
