« 2nd VRBO property we've stayed for our annual golf trips. Two years in Biwabik MN and this year Nisswa MN. Both excellent, this one being a free standing residential home. « Lots of space in the house. 3 bedrooms upstairs and one down in the walk out basement. Unfortunately, the mildew/musty smell was very strong. I wouldn't have been able to sleep down there, my daughter and son in-law used the room. The gates didn't fit the stairs, but the two year old managed it well enough without it. No hot tub. We were able to open the door at the bottom of the basement steps and that's where the foosh ball table was. Washing machine and dishwasher were not working, but we...

« The Hillman Retreat House is a gem. The amenities are amazing. We had so much fun playing family floor hockey games in the gym, brewing 2 pots of coffee and the endless spaces the family could spread out and enjoy time together. The games and puzzles were fun and they had many options to keep kids entertained. We highly recommend this property as a getaway for families with all ages. »
