« The cottage was perfect for our needs. We were attending an event at the Tryon Equestrian Center on Saturday morning and it was a quick 12-14 minute drive. Then we spent the rest of the weekend exploring Lake Lure, hiking in Chimney Rock State Park, and the village of Chimney Rock (easy 30 minute drive). The house was clean, very peaceful and quiet. It was very nice to have tea, coffee, and some water bottles provided. I would definitely recommend Granny Ruby’s cottage to anyone staying in...

« Every thing was super Clean.. This is a Very Special place. It's secluded but yet 7 minutes from Rutherforton Downtown and 15 minutes from Downtown Forest City with a Spectacular Christmas display ..Very Family oriented. « The place (Boo Boo’s Cabin) was clean, comfortable and cute. However, the two sofas need to be changed. The leather-like couch has pieces sticking up all over. We sat on it with a blanket that was provided. The smaller cloth one was very stained and is in need of new cushions. That is the only reason I gave a four star rating. The owner answered promptly when there was a small problem with the doorknob. It was fixed promptly. We would book it again in the future. »

« We stayed here while attending the Earl Scruggs Music Festival.Everything is of the highest quality. It's very comfortable and sitting on the porch is so relaxing that we chose to miss some of the festival so we could enjoy it. This is not a stand alone cottage. It is the lower level of a larger cottage so you can hear people walking above, but it wasn't a problem. Our dog loved the yard and porch. Great location! We will try to book if we attend the festival again! »
