« As advertised, this was a cozy, quaint, and a bit quirky cottage. Very charming and reflective of the area, adding to the fun of the weekend. Instructions were clear, location easy to find, and check in/out was easy. Ample parking. Loved the courtyard with water wheel and fishpond. The cottage was very clean and welcoming. A bit disappointed there was no firewood or firelog for the fireplace that was listed as a feature of the property. It would have been nice to have a fire on a cool, rainy...

« The property was exactly as described with abundant wildlife! We thoroughly enjoyed sitting on the front porch and back deck overlooking the lake. Peaceful and serene weekend retreat! Our hosts were amazing and answered promptly! Everything that you need and more is already easily available at the cabin! We look forward to returning! Thanks Hank and Pam! »

« We had a wonderful time and only wished our trip would have allowed us to stay longer. Don’t be swayed by the AC window units. They were very effective and kept us cool the whole time we were there. So quiet and relaxing. Sitting in the back porch with a cup of coffee was really nice to start the morning. Definitely hope to have the opportunity to return someday. »

« the air split conditioner was not cooling, there was no remote for it, we had to use the box fans to keep the place cool, the hot tub was not cooling down , too hot at 104 degrees, there is no book or guide on who or what to do if an emergency there, the internet access code was not listed, but they did come and unstop the tolite that was not flushing. We were not happy with the persons that called, i guess its been outsouced, but they were not very schooled in what is needed for the rental. »

It’s quiet and tasteful and delivers charm without trying too hard.So many places I have stayed have left me unsettled because there was just too much going on. This was perfect for us.The screened in porch was even more enjoyable than I expected and makes this as close to a perfect cabin as I could imagine. »
