« My husband and I came to Laconia for my birthday weekend in November. The place is completely remodeled, tastefully decorated, the hosts were very attentive, provided recommendations for local restaurants, even left snacks for their guests. « The location is ideal, and centrally located to the downtown, lake area, and nearby attractions. The interior is very well maintained. The layout itself is small but not cramped. There are some oddities such as the two doors to the main bathroom and the kitchen switch being behind one of the bedroom doors but they do not detract from the overall experience. « This is just a glorified old ski condo bedroom. There's a microwave in the fridge but no dishes and no utensils. The rug going into the bathroom is pulled away from the floor and if you step on it with bare feet you get rug tacks in your toes. There's only a single door between the next unit and you can hear everything their TV their conversations. The sliding door barely works you really have to fight with it to open and close it. I would not recommend this place. »
