Added bonus was being greeted by the neighborhood dogs and being able to visit with JJ. We hope to plan another long weekend in the area so we can spend time on the back patio and enjoy a fire. « Key pickup was no problem. Nice home-base for day hiking in the park; tho located on a state route, the parkway runs just behind so noise might be an issue during warmer months. The bigger bed is not a queen... (nor is it a king). The shower is not suitable for tall or big people »

« The place was clean and quaint.  The location was nice, just a short drive to the Gorge and various hiking places. The price was reasonable.  I would stay here again however it did not have a deadbolt lock or even someway to lock the door only from the inside.  The area was fairly nice however I just feel safer with the extra lock. Also the only way to heat the cabin was a little propane heater that work great but we were afraid we were going to burn the place to the ground if we left it on...
