« Communication with the host was excellent; they accommodated an unexpected change in plans and were very responsive. Most of my purpose in coming was to cook for my stressed out college student, and the kitchen was reasonably well-equipped with pots, pans, utensils and dishes. There’s a full spice rack, too. « The bathroom downstairs toilet leaked, the floor was wet the entire time. The ceiling downstairs was leaking, we had to have towels down almost the entire time. The house was NOT CLEANED. I had to spend two hours cleaning it after arriving. There was a dead rat in the kitchen sink drain. We had to sleep with the rancid smell the first night. Owners sent a maintenance man who got half of the rat out of the sink and left. My husband had to open the sink and drain and get the other half. ...
