« I stayed at the Blue Heron with my 2 kids (2 and 10) and my large dog. The fenced in large yard was absolutely wonderful to have everyone outside when at the house. « As always, the Key Cottage is a treat. While there are many things we like about it, the porches are our favorites. Just unplug and spend some quality time enjoying a trip back to a simpler time. The cottage is always meticulously prepared and the host is warmly welcoming. When we tell folks in local establishments where we are staying we frequently get an understanding look of envy. I cannot recommend it highly enough. »

« To start, I would go back. It was clean and a lovely, quiet location. The yard was great for my pup and the dock was amazing to sip coffee on. I really did enjoy my stay once the hot water kicked in. The host was responsive and accommodating.Important things to note: if it is cold outside, bundle up- the hot water did not work the first day (and never did for the bathroom sink), nor did the heat in the bedroom.
