« We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here ! The loft apartment was very clean and well appointed with everything we could need. The apartment was more spacious than I expected. Just a short walk down the yard to the small beach and dock, and we spent great hours kayakng and just sitting on the beach. Kristine and Scott were very friendly, helpful and great to get to know a little. We will definitely be looking to visit and stay there again »

« We were in town for a conference and did not get to spend as much time at the property as we’d have liked. But the quiet, the views, the pond, the horses, the historical house and the hospitality of the owner are all everything we could have asked for in a quiet getaway. We will definitely be back! »

« Wonderfully clean, new renovation and ample space (3 baths!) made this an excellent place to call home for a few days. Beautiful beach on the Rappahannock just down the road (walking or golf cart distance). »

« Home was absolutely beautiful and perfect location. Everything we needed for a weekend away was provided, kitchen was fully stocked for cooking meals. The large basement was perfect to hang out in and our kids absolutely loved the pool table. The weather was a little chilly so we didnt really get to utilize the patio but for warmer months the patio would be great to relax on. The back yard was huge and perfect for our kids to run around. The home was very welcoming and we are already planning...

« Everything was great. Our family enjoyed all aspects of the river cottage. The grandchildren were very happy. Access to the pier, the view in the morning and evening of the river was very relaxing. A very special Thanksgiving with our family . Memories forever!! »

We enjoyed the hot tub, kayaks/paddleboard, and beach, and the views were wonderful from the house and the dock. The quiet location was exactly what we were looking for and we will definitely look to stay here again (and possibly rent the house next door) for a larger family retreat. »
