« Great location close to Torch Lake and Charlevoix. The cottage had everything we needed although we didn’t spend much time there because we were mostly out and about. We had a little trouble with the keypad but the host was very responsive. We would stay again if we want to be close to torch lake but it was a little pricey compared to other places we have stayed up north. »

« Loved the location and pet friendly home. The public lake access was very busy so that added a bit to the privacy. Unfortunately there was not much lake breeze in the evenings so made for some hot sleeping conditions. Overall we had a great time. Torch Lake is our favorite »

« CarVer house is located in a nice area of Torch Lake, wooded and quiet. We appreciated all the provided "toys", and used the canoe, kayaks and paddle boards every day. Swimming access is good. We brought our sailboat, and it was easy to launch at a public access and tie onto the mooring buoy right in front of the dock at the house. Sailing was excellent! Everything was generously provided, lots of towels, papergoods, even firewood and lifejackets.Everything was clean, well stocked kitchen with...

« We were booked to stay in this cottage, however due to a maintenance issue, Nan reached out a couple of days before and offered us their other cabin, located right next door. She and her family offered to move so that we could stay there and not be disturbed by the maintenance workers. So while I cannot speak to this cabin, I can say that Nan was an excellent host and her property was clean, well-stocked and lovely. Would happily rent either cabin from her again. »

« Absolutely amazing place to stay. We had two families and the teenagers slept separately in the upstairs bedroom in the barn. Very quiet, beautiful location, and the most well-stocked rental ever. Only downsides were the slightly sulfuric smell when showering (maybe because we’re early in the season) and the mosquitoes, which is unavoidable in May on a lake! »

« Cottage is in a great location with good view of the beautiful blue waters of Torch Lake, especially from the screened in porch. Tim was a great host! Cottage has a lot of history to it and was the perfect place for us to eat, sleep, and just hang out when we weren’t busy doing things with our family that lives nearby. We will e back! »
