« After a really stressful couple of weeks this property was just what we needed to reset our minds and bodies.The fact that we were able to bring our dog with us was a definite bonus. We spent most of our time relaxing on the porch with Zoey laying in the fenced in yard. Other times we sat by the creek and watched the geese and goslings swimming down stream. « We had a great time staying at this little cabin. It was very nice for our short anniversary trip. We arrived on a Monday evening and had a very easy time getting in. When you get there the first thing you notice is that this cabin is really, really in the woods. It was so nice and that was what I was looking for when I booked. « This very clean, well-kept cabin was a wonderful throw-back to grandma's cabin where you would want the whole family to spend a weekend. « This mountain house is absolute beauty! It is beyond gorgeous. The view is spectacular, the sunset is breathtaking. You have a 180 degrees view of West VA. The house itself is stunning, plenty of rooms to move around with our group of 15. We enjoyed the jacuzzi while admiring the beautiful sunset. « 99% positive things to say about this place. The views, the kitchen, the beautiful room facing down the mountain was our favorite room to do things.The mattresses are a little too forgiving. We prefer stiffer mattresses than were provided. And the drive up, if not used to driving up a mountain, was a bit terrifying the first time. But you get used to it. Sort of.Enjoyed our stay and would stay again if we decide to spend time in the area again. »
