Great hot tub, bar-bq and hammock outside. Games, books, good TV streaming services. Very comfortable bed. Host also supplied a tent and all the gear for one person. Fire pit available but unfortunately there was a fire ban on while we were there. Highly recommend would definitely stay there again. »

« This a is a quiet beautiful spot, well out of the way of the busy parts of the Island. It’s more like a 13-15 min drive to get into Ganges. Lots of deer around so keep your dog on a leash. Air conditioning works well when needed. Living/dining area is spacious as is loft bedroom upstairs. »

« Wow! This is an exceptionally well designed space that is incredibly well appointed and located in an idyllic setting. Sue and Rob have thought about every detail, from the deck with fire table and Weber barbecue (where we also enjoyed watching the rufous hummingbirds) to the sleeping, cooking and other amenities. « I would NEVER knowingly stay where I have to use an “outhouse”! No soap in outhouse. Very little cell service on Salt Spring Island; it took an hour to discover that the cabin was located BEHIND the host’s house down an unmarked back lane. There was no microwave just a BBQ. All water was outside. Thick bush meant lots of mosquitoes. Could not get gas fireplace to work. It was however very private and close to town. Windows were clean. Breakfast granola was scrumptious. »
