« This is a great Lake front property! It had everything we needed to feel like home. We had a blast using the kayaks, paddle boat and fire pit for smores. Short ride to town to get a few groceries and then no need or desire to go anywhere else. Definitely look forward to making more memories next trip! »

« It was pleasant. Very quiet and wonderful view of the lake. Excellent fishing. I had a few things that required online access to complete, so I selected a locations that listed wifi. Unfortunately the wifi was extremely slow so U had a hard time sending email. That said if you want a remote spot where you feel left alone to fish, this is great. Most people do not rent a lake cabin for the internet access though... »

« We spent the weekend at this cottage and were able to host a graduation celebration for approximately 25. There was good space for accommodating a BBQ. Steve was very responsive and the kitchen and bathroom were stocked with needed items. Beautiful view of the lake! »

Lakeside Nest was a great location for our historic Michigan quest (county seats and historical markers) and Shipshewana for Indiana. We loved our afternoons/evenings by the lake. « This was a great cottage for our family of 4. Our kids (9 and 6) loved swimming and fishing off the dock. We used the 2 kayaks and pool toys that were available. The fire pit was great for smores and hot dogs at night. The lake bottom was very sandy by the shore which made it pleasant to walk around in. The kitchen was well stocked for our cooking needs. We loved the historic feel. This is how a lake cottage is supposed to be. I'd recommend this property and plan on returning. »
