  • 2017 Rénovation et toujours les mêmes tarifs depuis 4 ans. Cottage était jaune maintenant il est gris foncé avec la pierre et une entrée de toit en cuivre. L'extérieur a été rénové avec un nouveau revêtement, des fenêtres, des portes, un porche, un système de climatisation central ajouté et est passé d'un 2 chambres à un 3 chambres. Chambre n ° 3 a un lavabo. 2 salles de bain complètes, 1 haut et 1 bas. Nouveau chauffe-eau.
    Printemps été automne hiver. Toujours quelque chose à faire!
    1 950 pieds carrés / 2 étages d'espace de vie. Nouvel adoucisseur d'eau, appareils de cuisine - cuisinière / cuisinière, réfrigérateur / congélateur, cafetière, four à micro-ondes, climatiseur, laveuse et sécheuse, et un nouveau quai de 40 pieds. 3 chambres à coucher, 9 couchages (plus de chambre à l'étage), 2 salles de bain complètes, cuisine complète avec ustensiles, salle de jeux, salle de télévision pour les enfants, salle de télévision pour les adultes, laveuse et sécheuse, meublé (escalier à monter et descendre), ( 4) 21 'TV w / DVD, TV câblée, WIFI sans fil, escaliers ascendants et descendants centraux AC, cheminée, foyer, grille de gaz. Gratuits, jeux de société, barques à rames, pédalo, canoë
    Situé sur un lac 880 acres w / trois bassins et un 2 mi. piste de ski, sand bar, 4H Park, etc.
    150 'au bord du lac x 300 pieds de profondeur. Impasse sécuritaire pour les enfants et la marche, Retour Lot pour le stationnement des voitures et des remorques de bateaux.
    Situé à proximité de nombreuses activités familiales amusantes !!!

    Familles, retraites religieuses, et les entreprises: Le chalet est idéal pour les réunions de famille, des amis, des retraites religieuses, et les événements de team building d'entreprise qui, après les activités de la journée, voudraient battre en retraite vers leur propre confort d'un chalet chaleureux et confortable pour regarder des films, se détendre ou se blottir au coin du feu.
    Prenez le temps de visiter le Buffalo Preserve. Vous pouvez également visiter un domaine viticole primé avec d'excellents vins rouges et blancs disponibles pour la dégustation et l'achat. Si les voitures sont votre intérêt, vous pouvez profiter de deux speedways locales. Vous pouvez également prendre un rapide 30 minutes en voiture et profiter de la Auburn, Cord, Duesenberg Museum qui abrite les voitures classiques vintage de 1900 au début des années jusqu'à des véhicules de l'époque WW II. Ou visiter le Musée NATMUS qui abrite les véhicules des années d'après-guerre.     Les Jours Événements: Les enfants adoreront explorer les terres environnantes, le bord des lacs, attraper des grenouilles et des poissons, tandis que vous vous détendre dans une chaise à regarder avec une tasse de café chaud. Derniers les enfants vont nager, jouer sur le radeau, utiliser le bateau à aubes, canoë, pendant que vous jouez avec eux ou faire une sieste. Après le déjeuner est un moment idéal pour obtenir dans votre bateau à moteur et ski nautique, tube d'eau, traîner à la barre de sable, ou quai jusqu'à 4h foire de randonnée. Ce soir-là alors que le soleil se couche le foyer est le lieu d'être. Comment puis-je savoir, j'ai une belle femme et ses enfants triplets 8 ans. Nous avons apprécié ce chalet pour les 8 dernières années.

Everything was great and everyone in my group of 7 was happy and said they would stay here again. It was very clean and well furnished with plenty of seating room. There were several places where you could sit down and eat and the home was very pleasing to the eye with all the recent upgrades. The outside of the property was well maintained and very pretty with an excellent view of the lake. There were plenty of places to sit and the parking was plentiful. The owners of the property were a joy to work with and even allowed us to check in early which is unheard of these days. The only bad thing I would say is that the water pressure was on the low side so it took a little bit longer to take a shower than normal. Again, I would stay here again in a minute

We had a wonderful time. We had a family of ni ne swans spending time onthe lake every morning. The beds were really nice as well as the furniture. We will definitely keep it in mind for future visits.

We rented this property for my parents and it couldn’t have been better! The home was very clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. It has a big yard that was great for relaxing and taking in the beautiful lake views. The whole setting felt peaceful and private. Communication with the owner was excellent from start to finish — they were quick to respond and made sure everything went smoothly. We’d definitely stay here again or recommend it to others looking for a quiet lakeside escape.

Trine Graduation Weekend

We spent the weekend at this cottage and were able to host a graduation celebration for approximately 25. There was good space for accommodating a BBQ. Steve was very responsive and the kitchen and bathroom were stocked with needed items. Beautiful view of the lake!

The cottage was a terrific place for our family’s visit to Angola. We had a great time inside and outside of the house. The cottage is cozy, welcoming, clean, family friendly and dog friendly. It has great WiFi access, which was very helpful since I barely had signal. The outdoor area is a very good size for kids to play and a dog to run around, a dock to fish from, a little firepit, and a bonus was finding big outdoor toys for kids. The cottage also has a cozy fireplace, a nice game seating area and my favorite - a great big window seating area to read and stare out at the lake in a cozy environment on cooler/cold days. The only issues we found were substandard cookware (but I find this at most seasonal rentals due to wear & tear), non-working appliances (2x blenders did not work), and metallic/rusty tap water. The owner has a water cooler so drinking water is available. These were not deal breakers for us, especially since drinking water was provided. Based on previous reviews, you can tell the owner has really taken the feedback and applied it, showing that they care about their guests’ experiences. It was not peak season, so it was quiet and calm during our visit. We really loved it and are definitely planning to try to book it in future visits.

The house was beautiful and had a gorgeous view of the lake. There was a problem with the water pressure so when someone was taking a shower or a bath, there was not any water at any of the other sinks. This was quite a challenge as there were nine people staying in the house. We also had a challenge when we arrived at the house and found a couple inches of snow on the sidewalk and 8 -10 inches of snow on the driveway and additional snow at the end of the driveway from the snow plow clearing the road. I contacted the owner and he said the guy who was to clear the driveway had a problem with his equipment and didn’t get it cleared, but the owner left a shovel for me. At 65 years old, I was not happy to have to shovel the driveway. I wanted to have all of the food and supplies unloaded before the other guest arrived, but I didn’t get it done. The younger men arrived and finished shoveling. The owner did give me a 50 refund for the inconvenience.

Crooked Lake Cottage

What a beautiful location and property! We had a nice two day stay at the lake cottage with our dog Joe. Didn't get on the lake with the canoes that were available but nice that they are available. A few updates would be nice to improve a future stay in the cottage. Bath towels and face cloths were more like rags than something you'd use at home. The two recliners in the front room need to be replaced because they are broken. We also wondered why there was a big screen tv in the room overlooking the lake? It totally ruins the view. The cleaning expected before leaving in the morning is unreasonable. I realize they are trying to keep the cost down but when you're getting up early to leave you don't want to have to worry about vacuuming and doing the laundry. The washing machine took so long that we never had a chance to finish the load. The bed was comfortable and all in all our stay was wonderful and I'd stay again!

Pretty Setting right on the Lake.

I have always had fantastic experiences with VRBO. Sorry this one had multiple issues, from check in, the key in the lockbox did not work so we were trying to reach the owner but almost no cell service, so this took a while, we contacted the next door neighbor for help , the water pressure being a big problem, especially on checkout day. The cleaning is very extensive, woke up early to Wash all the sheets! Yes we were asked to launder the sheets, but the water pressure was so slow it took 2 hours for one load, and even had to remove them from the dryer before they were dry to leave by our 11:00 check out. In the meantime we couldn’t shower, wash the dishes or flush toilets. This was a bad ending, Everyone was frustrated . The bathroom door upstairs did not shut tight so we braced a chair in front of the bathroom door which didn’t really work out, The slats at the top of the stairs are at least a foot apart, any child could fall straight down the stairs. I would not stay at this property again. Way too much cleaning, even had to vacuum and clean toilets, showers and sinks. Sorry, charge more for a cleaning fee, Way too much to do when you are trying to pack and leave. Lastly, only one couch in the Adult Living Room, Not enough seating !! I hate being negative but if I had known any of these issues I would have rented somewhere else.

Just what we needed after a LONG COVID Winter

It was the perfect place to get away for a weekend and rent a pontoon. Having a new baby in the family makes it very hard to travel anywhere safely. This gave us the opportunity to remember what is important in our lives. FAMILY. It was quiet and the recommendation to rent a boat was so easy. THANK YOU. It is just what we all needed.
