« It is a little far from everything, but worth the drive. Beautiful deck and view. Found house to be stocked with most everything we needed. I did have to call owner to find a light switch and she answered quickly and was very sweet. I recommend this house if you want to get away . If you are looking for night life this is not for you. »

« This house was perfect for two families since there are two kitchens, and everybody had their own space. Although I would not recommend sleeping downstairs as you can hear every noise from the upstairs area. »

« The house is quite large and well equipped. Great views of the pasture/meadows surrounding the home. You are way out in the country and it is very quiet. Great place to stay! »

« Terrific, clean spot with spectacular view of Nolin Lake from the porch. While a little long (40min) , the drive to the mammoth caves is beautiful, and the serenity of being on the lake is unmatched. Responsive and helpful hosts. »

« The Redbird Hideaway is a beautiful place to unwind with family. We drank out coffee each morning on the covered porch listening to birds. It was cozy without being crowded and close enough to mammoth cave and lake nolin for us to get some hiking and fishing in during our stay. Highly recommend. »

« If you want to get away but still be fairly close to a lot of things, this is solid place to stay. It's a solid launch spot for many local adventures. And you gotta visit Reid's Livery! This little winery is about 3 minutes from the house and the Reid's are full of local wine info! My favorite was the Silver Streak btw. The house was basically as-listed. It's definitely a place where if you follow all the directions, everything will be fine. We were a little bummed that we couldn't use the sweet...

« I invited my mom and future mother in law to come visit and do some wedding shopping. They were both absolutely thrilled from the first step in. All weekend, they both continued to say how perfect this location was for their trip. It provided us with the peaceful quiet evenings, but still enough room for my fiancé and I to join them for breakfast/dinner. Everything was super easy, and communication was always super fast.
