« Wow, this place is central to so many great spots. In one week we did so much around the area. My 2.5YO and 6YO loved the property. The water is shallow all the way out to the buoys. My 6 year old and wife walked out to the buoys 4x. My 2YO loved playing in the water but mostly loved digging in the beach on the property with all the provided toys & tools. « This house was perfect for a weekend getaway for my partner and I. Lovely panoramic view of the lake. House is set in the woods at the top of the dune with ateps down to the lakeshore within feet of the deck. Beautiful location. »

« We had a great time at Platte Lake! This is the third time we have stayed at this cottage. It is close to the dunes and tubing/kayaking down the Platte River. We went to Frankfort for ice cream and to watch the sunset.(Such a cute little town!) We discovered Point Betsie beach on Lake Michigan and went rock hunting. All of this is within a 15 min drive. The cottage was clean with some new updates and has a sweet charm. The lake is shallow in front of the cottage (and warm the week we were there)...

« We had the most wonderful weekend at this charming cabin in the woods. Tucked away in a peaceful setting, it was exactly what our family of four needed to relax and reconnect. The sound of the nearby creek added the perfect natural soundtrack, and we spent hours just soaking in the quiet beauty of the surroundings.The cabin itself was spotless—truly one of the cleanest places we’ve ever stayed. « We booked this cabin in June 2024. The view was wonderful to wake up to each morning. We used the fire pit for s’mores one night. We also used the kayaks and paddle boards. The cabin was exactly as pictured. It’s a short drive to Frankfort, which has lots of cute shops and good places to eat. I highly recommend Stormcloud Brewery for a delicious meal. I also highly recommend staying at this cabin. We will definitely book it again for future trips! »

« A beautiful secluded spot in one of loveliest areas of MI! The property has been recently renovated and has a complete array of well thought out amenities. The pictures don’t do justice to the kitchen. Although it’s not large it’s very functional and a pleasure to work in. The hosts have provided a thorough guide to fill you in on all the local restaurants and attractions. There is no AC but in our years of experience vacationing in Benzie Co. the fans provided would keep the place comfortable...

« We had a relaxing time in our cottage. Sitting on the dock watching the sunset was magical. There were paddle boards, kayaks, and rowboats to use. The cottage was clean, comfortable, and had all the amenities we needed. »

« This was a great house. Very clean and comfy. It’s close to all the beaches and towns. The only issue we had was the management never returning our messages in regards to an ant infestation in the kitchen. It was bad enough that we had to go out and buy traps, but they really didn’t help. »

« This up north cottage is perfect for our family of 3! Great location for all things Sleeping Bear Dunes. We love launching off from here each day for our adventures, and then returning to kick back and relax in the recliners and have dinner! »

« We loved this house. 4 adults and 4 teens fit easily and happily here. Crystal Lake is gorgeous and we rented the extremely nice boat and went out on the Lake many of the days we stayed here. I highly recommend this house. »
