Very bad experience
5 stars hotel. I used my reward night to stay in this hotel, very disappointing, my worst night in a 5 stars hotel. Technician stayed 30min in my room to fix a light. It was impossible to shut down all lights in order to sleep. In the night, because of Electricity shut down and come back, one light kept turning on at 3am in the morning, waking me up. Very dirty room, wallpaper and bath room. Pillow covers are smaller than pillow. All of that is true, check pictures.

Hotel deco looking tired, corridor carpets dirty, doesn't supply 2 room entry cards per couple, bathrooms towels are old & frayed. The duty manager appeared to be cold and unwelcoming. Generally we got the impression the management was not investing enough into the hotel. some of the dining room staff gave good service and the chef accommodated our special requests.

The travel is during Covid pandemic times and probably expecting all facilities to be opened is a higher expectation as the common facilities had to be kept shut. The basic requirements were all taken care of.

Very conveniently located but a very tired hotel
Check in experience was fine. I booked a triple room, for errr three people. But upon arrival there were only two bath towels and no hand nor face towels. Once requested however, they did turn up. The room was a river facing room and overlooked the pool and river. The pool however was under maintenance, so we were extremely disappointed, this was one of the reasons for choosing this hotel. There wasn't much of an apology either. So if the pool is a must for you, then check ahead - we were the in Nov and it was definitely not finished. The room also spelt of smoke so back in the day must have been a smoking room. The rooms, and hotel seemed very tired though. I can't compare it to other Wyndhams, but it was stuck in the late 70s/80's. The room was very large with dark and cracked flooring. There were also only two electrical sockets by the desk and not the bed. I remember having to unplug the lamp to access one too. Breakfast was ample with a good selection. Service was very slow for tea/coffee. We did have dinner there too. Again service was slow and the chicken biriyani was under-cooked. It was immediately replaced however, and staff were apologetic but this marred the whole experience. The omelette in the morning was also a little too underdone. I think the hotel could do with a refresh. The restaurant seems to be offering too much to provide a great standard in food. Whenever something wasn't right the staff were extremely helpful however.

Great room, a bit slow for customer service
The room was great! It was comfortable and large. The breakfast buffet was okay. It wasn't the greatest tasting one, but you will definitely find something to eat there. Also, the service is a bit slow. We ended up calling the reception desk three times, trying to get a third code for wifi (we had three people in our group). The first two calls had the reception desk respond by "we'll call you back." We finally got a different person for the third call who understood what we wanted and said it would activate in five minutes. Our other group of friends (in a different room) called for water and they never arrived. When we called for some extra water, it did take a while, but they did get it.

Overall okay (but only for one night)
We stayed only one night and overall the stay was okay. The only thing that was important and it wasn’t good was the AC unit in the room as it was very noisy. That made it hard for me to fall asleep and have a restful night. The view from the room was over the backwaters and it was very pretty.

Et nydelig hideout.
Utrolig deilig å komme til noe som var rent og stilfullt etter en lang rundtur i India. Det var hyggelig service og god mat. Internettet er noe ustabilt, men OK. Spa avdelingen var av god kvalitet og billig selvfølgelig sammenlignet med vanlige priser i Europa. Vi var svært fornøyd. Hadde sunset cruise og morgentur på Backwater arrangert av hotellet, og det var meget vellykket.

Nice Hotel, Great Service
This hotel is nice and service was excellent. However, the bathrooms in our room were a bit dirty and looked like they had not been fully cleaned. There were many little bugs in our room but I think that is because the hotel is right on the water.

The most horrible day we had here. The rooms were not ready even at 4pm where the check-in time starts at 2. Post that the rooms were not checked before allocation. AC not working No hot water Room lock was an issue The sink water clogging Basic things like hair dryer also not available The hotel staff was much careless and wasted our holiday time till 6pm They were so pathetic,taking things casually Staff doesn't know meaning of 5* property

Comfortable Hotel on the Backwaters
The staff at this hotel are extremely helpful and kind! Our room was comfortable and clean, and breakfast had many selections (both Indian and Western). The hotel also helped us book a car from Alleppey to Munnar, and their driver was extremely knowledgeable of the mountain roads. We will be back to the Ramada soon!

Had a very good time at Ramada . They had people singing karaoke in the evening . Very nice

An average hotel
Excellent reception staff, Unfortunately the room we had was dirty with hair on the floor and we had to get them to change the sheets on the bed which were also dirty, Nice pool and average breakfast.
