A perfect holiday
We had a very good vacation in the holiday house in Carrapateira. The pictures are nice, but in reality the house is even more beautiful and bigger. There are 3 terraces , and even in windy periods, there is always sides of the house which is not windy. We were there in february and the weather was excellent. A bit cold at night, but there is heating in evey room. Great stay!

Sehr schönes und familienfreundliches Haus!
Dass wir schon zum zweiten Mal in diesem Haus waren, zeugt davon, wie überzeugt wir von dem Haus sind. Wir haben insgesamt vier Wochen dort verbracht und das Haus bietet alles, was man sich als Familie von einem Urlaubsdomizil wünschen kann. Mitten im Dorf CARRAPATEIRA gelegen, bietet es einen wunderbaren Ausblick auf die Dünenlandschaft. Mit einem 20-minütigen Spaziergang steht man direkt auf den Klippen und schaut aufs Meer. Die Einrichtung des Hauses ist von sehr guter Qualität und es ist alles da, was man benötigt, um eine gute Zeit zu haben. Parkplätze sind vor dem Haus verfügbar und der Garten bietet eine sichere Umgebung für Kinder. In 3 Minuten Fußmarsch ist man am Supermarkt und der örtlichen Bäckerei. das Haus von Miguel können wir uneingeschränkt empfehlen und danken Miguel für die tolle Betreuung während unseres Aufenthaltes.

Nice House in Carrapateira
I rented this house to meet some friends and surf together in Carrapateira. Since the house was much larger than required for me and my family I later invited extended family to join us not knowing that would increase the price of our stay. This should be advertised better by VRBO as it caused some confusion. The house is good shape and looks even better than the pictures. Our kids loved the play room / basement. Some of the adults appreciated having a dedicated office space. The rooms and the shared spaces were very comfortable. The location is great. At a walking distance from Bordeira beach and a very short walk to downtown. Amado and many other beaches are a short drive away.

Tolles Haus! Sehr gut für Familien mit Kindern geeignet!
Mitten im wunderschönen Carrapateira an der Costa Vicentina, liegt dieses wunderbare Haus mit insgesamt vier Schlafzimmern mit vier Bädern. Nicht nur, dass es zwei wunderbare Wohnzimmer gibt eins Erdgeschoss und ein Spielzimmer für Kinder im Keller, es gibt auch einen wunderbaren Wintergarten, in dem man das Gefühl hat, draußen zu sitzen und trotzdem Wind geschützt zu sein. Auf mehreren Terrassen und Balkone lässt sich die Sonne genießen und einen Blick in die umgebende Dünenlandschaft werfen. Das Haus ist mehr als ausreichend ausgestattet, selber kochen macht Spaß in der Küche, die für alle kulinarischen Künstler ausgestattet ist. Die Strände Amado und Bordeira liegen in Reichweite. Carrapateira ist wirklich ein Geheimtipp, nicht nur für Server, sondern auch für Familien. Das Haus kann gut mit zwei oder sogar drei Familien belegt werden, es ist ausreichend Platz vorhanden. Der Kontakt zum Vermieter läuft unkompliziert und zuverlässig, wir haben uns alle Zeit sehr wohl gefühlt und auch gut begleitet gefühlt. vielen Dank, lieber Miguel, für deine ansprechbarkeit in jeder Situation und für die freundliche Begleitung unseres Urlaubes. Wir kommen wieder und haben für nächstes Jahr schon gebucht.

Alles prima
Der Aufenthalt war wunderbar und unkompliziert. Kommunikation mit Gatsgeber war einfach und eine so gut ausgestattete Küche hatte ich selten in einem Ferienhaus. Der winterhart ist herrlich und der Ausblick auch. Ich habe nichts auszusetzen.

Wunderbar
Das Ferienhaus hat eine tolle Lage und ist besonders für Familien geeignet. Von hier erreicht man schnell den Strand und die ansässigen Surfschulen. Miguel ist ein sehr freundlicher und zuvorkommender Vermieter. Obwohl wir keinen persönlichen Kontakt hatten, war er per Mail für Fragen zu erreichen. Es war ein wunderschöner, entspannter Aufenthalt. Danke!

Nicest House to stay for a relaxed holiday
We stayed in this house several times. Close to the beaches Amado and Bordeira it is best for surfing or bodyboarding. There is mitging missing in the house. We love the wintergarden, almost outside-feeling when it gets colder in autumn.

Perfect hideout
Miguel the owner, was very kind and helpful. The house is spacious, full of light, given a lovely personal touch, very clean and beautifully located on a hill with dunes views. It's easy to relax there, the only sounds you hear are birds voices, wind and sometimes the ocean. The air is very fresh. There are many books written in Portuguese but not only. If you are coming with smaller children (but not only - my husband and 14 year old daughter loved it too :)) , you will be amused by the lowest house level which is literally a playground! Amazing beaches (Praia da Bordeira and Praia do Amado) are in walking distance. You can buy very tasty and fresh fruits and vegetables in Carrapateira local market, 5 minutes from the house. Just a perfect place for holidays and if you're a surfer, you will enjoy it even more.

Wunderschönes und gemütliches Ferienhaus
Wir haben uns in dem Haus sehr wohl gefühlt und konnten bei Bedarf mit dem Vermieter problemlos in Kontakt treten. Vor allem für Familien mit kleinen Kindern ist das Ferienhaus ideal, da es einen tollen Spielbereich im Souterrain gibt mit vielen schönen Spielsachen. Außerdem ist das Haus ideal für zwei Familien, da es ausreichend Schlfmöglichkeiten und Badezimmer gibt. Carrapateira ist ein sehr kleines Örtchen mit einem kleinen Einkaufsladen, in dem man aber vieles bekommt, und einigen Restaurants, die jedoch in der Nebensaison nur teilweise geöffnet haben. Es gibt tolle Strände in der Nähe und Surfer kommen hier und in der Umgebung voll auf ihre Kosten. Wir können das Haus sehr empfehlen und werden auf jeden Fall nochmal dieses Objekt buchen.

Sauber, geräumig, toller Platz
Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit in Carrapateira. Das Haus hat all unsere Erwartungen übertroffen. Selten so viel Platz gehabt. Zum Strand ging's zu Fuß durch die Dünen. Wenn's Rückfragen gab, hat der Vermieter super freundlich und sehr schnell geantwortet. Was will man mehr?

Vacaciones en familia en Carrapateira
La casa en Carrapateira es perfecta para pasar unas vacaciones en familia. Es ideal para grupo mínimo de 8-10 personas. Muy equipada, amplia y perfecta para ir con niños y/o jóvenes. La atención del propietario Miguel durante el proceso de alquiler como la estancia fue perfecta. Carrapateira sigue siendo mi paraíso. Volveremos!!!!

Esta casa da mucho juego; sobre todo si se puede acceder a los cuatro dormitorios como ha sido el caso. Muy recomendable. No tiene piscina, pero tiene amplias zonas comunes y está quizá en la mejor zona de Carrapateira, junto al molino, apartada del centro del pueblo, pero al lado.

Großes Haus und viel Platz für Kinder
Die Villa ist wirklich groß, besonders das Spielzimmer bietet wirklich alles, was sich ein Kind wünschen kann. Die Kommunikation mit Miguel lief problemlos und schnell. Lediglich der Strand ist etwas weiter entfernt. Mit Surfbrettern benötigt man auf jeden Fall ein Auto. Jederzeit gerne wieder.

Very nice and calm house...nice views, best beaches and very nice children (and adult) play cellar
We enjoeyed the Time with our children in the nice house. During the First two days we needed to warm the house so that it got comfortable ( we stayed beginning of March-April). We enjoyed the nice views and the nice beaches which are next to Carrapateira. Especially the cellar with Lots of Great Kids toys was After the heating an attraction for us.

Lovely house in a wonderful location
I spent a week at Miguel's house with my husband and two small kids (4 and 6). The house was very clean and comfortable. Spacious and very well equipped. It is a 2 minute walk from the center of Carrapateira, which we loved. Although the town is very small, it has a handful of great restaurants and cafes, a mini market and 2 surf stores. It provides easy access to two beautiful beaches - one of which is just a 10 minute walk along a sandy trail. Miguel was a fantastic host. Very communicative and responsive. For example, we had some trouble logging on to the wifi when we first arrived, but he responded to my email right away and quickly solved the problem. I would recommend Carrapateira and Miguel's house to anyone wanting to visit the Costa Vicentina.

La casa tiene una situación magnífica, en Carrapateira, pero un poquito apartada del centro. Muy tranquila. Tiene muchas posibilidades, aunque no están del todo explotadas. Puede mejorar un poco la limpieza y el mantenimiento en general. Muy recomendable en cualquier caso

Buena casa pero podría estar más limpia
Hemos pasado 2 semanas en la casa, y es muy espaciosa y cómoda. Las habitaciones son grandes y cada una tiene su baño en suite. La cocina tiene todo tipo de utensilios y en el sótano un gran cuarto de juego con todo tipo de entretenimientos. Para nosotros lo único que mejoraríamos de la casa es la limpieza, las ventanas y puertas de cristal estaban sucísimas y estropean realmente las vistas. Los muebles de jardín también los tuvimos que limpiar nosotros para poder usarlos. La atención de Miguel fue buena y estuvo atento para poder arreglar algún que otro problema que tuvimos con la cafetera, que finalmente acabó en que tuvimos que ir a diario a un bar a comprar café para poder desayunar en casa porque la cafetera que había disponible era una cafetera de émbolo que no había quien hiciese un café decente con ella. Muy bien situada dentro del pueblo, y también en buena zona para conocer los alrededores.

Stunning location beautiful home
This is a great house fully equipped with everything you need for a holiday that feels like home from home. The kitchen is amazingly well equipped. A two minute walk from the local village with cafes restaurants and shops. It is only 15 minutes to walk to the local beach too. I would highly recommend this home and the host went out of his way to help us when we were very late checking in.

wirklich sehr großes Haus und vollausgestattet
Das Haus ist riesig ( Spiel und Hobbykeller, Div. Dachterassen, Wohn/Esszizimmer, sehr großer Wintergarten mit Hängematte, Tisch und Sitzecke,große Küche, Flur Obergeschoß mit 4 Zimmern, davon 3 Schlafräume) und dabei leider nur 3 Schlafzimer - schade! Bis auf die Schlafräume+Bäder haben wir eigentlich nur den riesen Wintergarten genutzt. Schlafräume und Bäder waren sauber - alles andere so lala..:

Viel Platz, Räume für jedes Wetter, sei es heiss oder kühl...; Gut eingerichtete Küche, grosse Schlafzimmer, riesige Terrassen; Restaurants und Lebensmittelladen sind in 3 Minuten zu Fuss erreichbar; Zu Fuss ist man in 20 Minuten in einer wunderschönen Dünenlandschaft und am Strand von Bordeira; Mit dem Auto ist das Surferparadies Praia do Amado in 5 Minuten erreichbar; Fazit: ein Traum!

Schönes Haus
Das Haus liegt ideal, wenn man auch ein Auto hat, zum Ortskern von Carrapateira sind es 2 Minuten zu Fuß, zum Strand ca. 20 Minuten....Geräumiges Haus, gut eingerichtet...es fehlen ein paar Dinge... der Tisch auf der Terrasse hatte keine Beine...und für jeden gab es nur ein kleines und ein großes Handtuch... wir haben unseren Aufenthalt genossen !
