This was the worst booking ever! It actually completely ruined our holiday. We stayed for 17 days and it was a nightmare from day 1. The host is not anywhere nearby to help, is dishonest and does not communicate. Check in: we waited over an hour to gain access. Host does not speak English or Spanish as advertised only Portuguese which made it very difficult to communicate. She provided wrong code and we could not get in. We are a family of 5 with one over 60 and two kids under 12. We were so hot and tired after travelling 8 hours. We had to wait for the neighbour to let us is who also only speaks Portuguese. Listing: The Appartement description is completely false, inaccurate, dirty. No grill, no oven, no garden, no bidet, no washing machine, only 1 pullout bed, beds are not double they are only singles. There was no amenities and supplies left. No Ac, toilet paper, 3 towels and towels and sheets not clean, no dish soap for the kitchen, no, papertowel, no soap or towel in the bathroom, no shampoo or shower gel as described, no cleaning supplies, no garbage bags to change, no broom NOTHING. We contacted the host right away who rudely told us this is not a hotel booking. Although the listing describes several things we got nothing. We contacted VRBO right away who also ignored our attempts to resolve the issues. This booking cost us a lot of money and our holidays were really ruined. I cried, my kids cried and host was not helpful. I would never book again. Requested refund
