Great location, friendly staff

Les + : Central location
Les - : More lighting Specify that will not stay in main hotel when you book
Situation : Central (walking distance) to all of Rome's tourist attractions
We stayed in the ground floor family apartment for 5 for three nights, which was not part of the main hotel ( just around the corner). In common with previous reviewers we found this room with just one small window a little dark and gloomy, and the absence of a table or anywhere that more than two people could sit meant that meals in - even breakfast- were tricky. However it was clean and quiet and there was plenty of space, and it's very central ( walking distance to all of the main sites, and Campo de Fiori just a couple of minutes away). The staff were very helpful. If we stayed again we would specify that we wanted to stay in the main hotel.

Great location. Apartment as advertised.

Les + : Location. Clean safe rooms.
Les - : More local support for tours.
5 star rating because it is what it says it is. The location is perfect. It isn't the Ritz, but they don't claim to be. Clean and safe with helpful staff. This is everything a midrange apartment is supposed to give you. I stayed with my wife and 2 year old and would come back any time. Our apartment could have held three more comfortably. 200!meters away from all day action and that is 50 meters more than you need to be quiet. If I had one complaint, it was that a movie crew shut down our alley for a day because it just looks that Italian.

Walking distance to most sights

Friendly, helpful hotel service. In a real neighborhood, close to Campo del Fiori market, good restaurants, Piazza Navona and bus routes. Rooms ok but very small and kitchen very poorly supplied, dishes/pots/utensils dirty and no way to make coffee. Paying apartment rates for a very small room with limited dirty kitchen- not impressed. Good location though.

Great Locale

We have stayed at Bollo twice. The location is fantastic - 1 block from Campo dei Fiori. An "apartment-hotel" the room has a spacious double, AC, nice large bathroom. There is an attached shared kitchen which allows one to not eat out at all times and use the fabulous bakeries and fruit venders surrounding the square. No hotel services

Central location walk to major sights.

Publié le 30 mai 2014
Les + : Very central and easy for sightseeing It was an old convent so has character . staff helpful.
Situation : Vatican /Forum / major sights easy walking distance. Bars markets all short walk. Would suit tourists /couples/students. Not for elderly or business
We could walk to all the major sights from here- Vatican to Pantheon etc. It is down a tiny lane off a tiny line so be prepared to unload your luggage then go park your car... ideally by the river for a bout 10 euros a day unlimited. Parking and driving are the hardest part of being in central Rome.... but you expect that.. The hotel had comfortable room with cooking facilities and fridge, the en suite bathroom is a little small but ok. the rooms are safe..securely locked front door which you have keys to as there is only someone at the desk limited hours. We found it ideal for access to sightseeing. We left our phone and they forwarded it on to us so very helpful... Would go again

Close to Brazilian Embassy and the Vatican

Unfortunately I expected better to what I have paid for. All rooms are old, bathrooms with black mould around the showers. The advert shows a crossed high price and replaced with an approximate 10% special price. You expect a 5 star room and not what you really get. They tell everyone that the room is the last room available.

The location is fantastic, close to Campo di Fiori and Piazza Navona, but in a quiet small backstreet. FOr the price this is an amazing good deal. The place is lovely, the rooms very nice and convenient. The staff were super friendly and helpful. We would definitely come back!
