Les + : They did have 1 tv channel available in English.
Les - : Wifi could be free instead of 2€ per day per device.
Situation : Nothing really near by, 15 min walk to metro.
Tricky to get to and the website did not have directions to view. Very narrow spiral staircase made it difficult to get your luggage upstairs. Although happy to have my own bathroom, the shower was literally 2.5' x 2.5' - a larger person would not fit in it.

Dark room

Publié le 29 mai 2013
The Hotel condition was very bad . The staff weren't friendly at all . I only made one local phone call , they charged me 8 euro. The hotel didnt have elevator . my room was in a second floor and I had to carry the my suitcase to upstairs. Lots of stairs. The hotel was very very dirty, the room was very dark and dirty , there was no shampoo. I didn't feel safe. thanks to expedia that helped me to cancel my room after the second day . I travel to paris 5 times a year and it was very horriable experience , I wouldnt recommenade this hotel to anyone.

Prince Monceau

Publié le 29 juin 2011
It's a very small hotel with even smaller rooms in a quiet residential area of Paris. Perfect location for eating and drinking a lot cheaper than you will in the tourist areas and it's close enough to the metro to get you anywhere you want to go. You will likely not interact much with the staff, which is good, because they are incredibly unhelpful. For the money, it's a fine place to lay your head at night and shower in the morning...afterall, you're in Paris to see Paris, not hang out in your hotel. I would book again if only for the room cost.

Good stay; would stay again.

Friendly staff, good location next to the Malsherbres(sp?) metro station, clean room. It's not a large hotel by any means but it was clean, comfy and had all the needed amenities. Perfect for a cheaper hotel to serve as your homebase for a Parisian adventure. The only thing that I did not like was that breakfast seems to be included in the room bill but it is not, internet and breakfast are an additional, small charge, I can't say exactly because this review site does not allow rates or pricing because they can change over time. This was not a big deal but I would have liked to know this before/as I was checking in rather than at checkout. I would recomend this hotel to any college student looking for a cheap place to stay while in Paris without sacrificing too much.

Perfect hotel to stay if first time in Paris. Staff spoke English and was very very helpful. Breakfast was plenty to get your day started and it is located minutes away from all the "hot" touris destinations. Would stay here gain. Only con- Price did not include city tax and wireless was not free. Although it was only 13 euros at check out.
