Staff was very professional and helpful. Room in general was clean; however, the carpet was very dirty. The manager was made aware of the situation and promised to take care of the situation. Breakfast was good.

Nice for a quick in and out stay.....

Solid for a quick road trip stay.....older facility that could use some updating and more power outlets for the room.

I do not recommend this hotel.

Publié le 17 juin 2015
Les + : The proximity to shopping and restaurants and to I40.
Les - : The pool was disgustingly filthy and the breakfast was not much to speak of.
Situation : Less than a mile form the Old Hickory Mall and a fast food restaurants. Right off of I40.
Refrigerator in room did not work so they switched us to another room. Not enough towels in room. The pool was disgustingly filthy and the breakfast was not much to speak of. The elevator was slow and very creaky and jerky.

Scary experience

Publié le 10 juin 2015
Les + : The staff...only.
Les - : The safety and atmosphere.
Situation : I would not venture outside unless you get into your car and drive to a different exit and hotel.
The grounds have barbed wire near the road, which should have given us a clue. Our room was adequate, but the door had gaps made by what looked like a crowbar. Anyone in the hall could see through to the sink right next to the door - so dressing was difficult. The locks on the door were not functioning so a simple chain provided extra protection between the gaps. Tired and hungry, we walked to the Taco Bell across the street - no cross walk or signal, so done at our own risk and we were approached by someone looking for money. The neighborhood is very questionable and the hotel seems to fit in perfectly. We usually stay at La Quinta when traveling with our dog - next time we will pay extra to have her stay somewhere safer! The only positive part is that the staff was extremely friendly at check in and check out.

One Night

Publié le 28 mai 2015
For one night, it was just okay. First, let me say I'm really picky and I should have known better. The staff was really nice and accommodating. The hotel itself is older and not the cleanest. There were weird stains on the carpet and mold in the bathroom. The sheets and towels were super clean so that was a plus. The bed was also extremely comfortable. The breakfast was mainly cereal, bagels and waffles.

decent hotel that allows dogs-free

Publié le 10 mai 2015
Les + : Price, pet policy, and location.
Les - : A little upgrading would be nice-change double beds to queens.
Situation : It isn't far to the Casey Jones museum and home. About an hour to Civil War battlefields. There are several good brand name restaurants nearby
The room was clean, but a bit "old" looking. The room had 2 double beds-no queens. Breakfast was good-no eggs or meats, but had waffles, biscuits & gravy, rolls, etc. All good. The desk staff were very friendly and nice. We had our dog, and this is the only place we have stayed where pets are free. The location was fairly close to a horse show we were there for. price was right.

First time at a LaQuinta. We were very pleased with the bed which was comfortable. The pillows however were a bit hard for our taste, but not an issue. Breakfast was okay with not too much selection available. The waffle maker was not working correctly so needed to make an alternate choice for breakfast. Cold cereal is just not the same as a waffle. Staff was very nice and the room was very comfortable. By the way....great TV in the room. The hotel is near the major highway but we were not disturbed by traffic noise at all. Overall we were happy and have actually booked for our return part of our trip. Hopefully I will get that waffle!
