“une adresse à retenir”
très bon hotel, décoration plutôt design très sympa, service attentif . Bonne adresse .
“Good if you need to be in Sisli area”
Service was very nice and helpful. Room smallish but comfortable enough, although desk was positively tiny. No problems with wifi. Bed and bed linens comfortable but towels somwhat frayed and scratchy. Decor appealing. Room service menu distincly lacking in Turkish food which was a bit disappointing - I didn't go all the way to Istanbul to eat bagel sandwiches and Caesar salads! On the whole though, a pleasant place to stay if you have business in Sisli area.
“Train compartments Rooms”
The service was excellent, but someone got the crazy idea that a room shaped after a train compartment is a actually a good idea. You have bearly enough space to move and the lighting system makes it worse. Also the toilet has no door, so the room smells like s**** all the time. It was too bad because the staff was excellent so was the location, and it came to our attention that the regular rooms are normally very good, and they are like 20 Euros more expensive ONLY, a price I would definitely pay if I knew what is waiting for me. But again, if those rooms were solde for considerably a lower price, maybe some people would go for them and accept the compromise they are about to commit to.
“Marmara Sisli”
After reading the reviews, I asked the reception to give us a sqare room and not the wagon one. However, we were told that the room that I have reserved was the wagon one and to change it we had to add 40 euros. So I decided to check out both rooms first. The only bad news about the wagon room is that it has no door on the toilet, I know it is very weird and very inconvinient, but since we were staying only for one night , we still chose the wagon. The room was on the 12 floor and one wall of the room was all glass, it was absolutely amazing view. For 1,2 days stay I would defenitely recommend this room. The location is quite good too. It has a big Cevahir mall in 5 minutes walking distance.

panaromic view to bosphorus. close to the subway and to the great cevahir shopping mall. market beside the hotel. comfortable room . everything was excellent.
“Nice hotel except those rooms called Wagon”
Hotel's location is very convenient, close to metro and big shopping center. The staff is friendly and I can tell this with a reason. When they gave us one of those Wagon rooms, telling that our reservation is booked as such, we were in shock because the room is no larger than a train compartment and most horrifying is that there is no door to toilet so practically you are required to perform your bowel and urine needs right next to your bed. It can get much more annoying if you are 2 people. My spouse and I are in general very comfortable with each other, but even we couldnt stomach that. When we complained about the situation, the manager changed our room to a normal one and I think they are pretty used to these kinds of complaints. But the normal room is exactly what you would expect from such a quality hotel. Big TV, comfortable bed and space, so on. AS long as youdo not end up in such a room as Wagon or Nano, everything is pretty fine with the hotel.
“Good business hotel - slow in solving problems”
Internet connection was down for 2 full days. Management kept repeating "we have a problem". Unacceptable situation for a business hotel. Planned to stay 5 nights, stayed only two. Otherwise everything else was OK, as expected.
“Quality hotel for a decent price”
Well the hotel is located 200 meters away from the subway station which is really convenient. The subway takes you to most of the places where you would want to see. Friendly and attentive staff. Good service for the money spent.
“Decent Hotel”
Good: the hotel is brand new, rooms are modern, pretty comfortable, decor is great Bad: these rooms are definitely made for one person. Beware: there are no doors on the showers OR the bathrooms, so no privacy there... and the 'bathroom' sink is in the bedroom. A little uncomfortable if you like your privacy. The hotel technically doesn't allow outside food or drinks inside, but the prices for even a bottle of water are absolutely outrageous, which I think is borderline illegal. Also, the front desk staff is not the most accommodating. On my second day at the hotel I had no electricity in my room, and no one seemed very concerned, although it was taken care of. Also, do NOT stay in the 'Nano' room unless you are ok with sleeping in a 8x10 box where the bed takes up (no joke) 80% of the room.
“Marmara Sisli”
The Hotel is located in the center of Istanbul and has easy access to both Metro and Taxi. The Hotel is brand new and the staff are very helpful and knowledgeable. I recommend this hotel to any one who wants to stay in Istanbul and be close to the best shopping centers and night life.
