“Séjour de 2 nuits a Florence”

Bonne situation. Chambre assez grande mais rustique. Douche style Formule 1 en très très étriquée Petit déjeuner réduit au strict minimum (Céréales 1er prix, croissant sous vide, jus de fruit sachet, oeuf cassé de la veille,..). Un trois étoiles moins ,moins, moins

“tres bon acceuil”

Hotel à 10 minutes du centre ville,trés propre,salle de bains un peu petite mais suffisante;accueil trés chaleureux et sympathique

“un peu déçus”

bien placé ,à 400 m de San Marco ,800m du Duomo, 1km2 des Offices et du Ponte Vecchio ,et 400 m d'un parking obligatoire. Par contre trés bruyant (du moins lors de notre séjour) et escaliers sans ascenceurs donc à éviter pour personnes âgées

“Will not go back!!!”

We arrived in Pisa and the listing said "near the leaning tower" so we decided to walk. After a very frustrating 1 1/2 hours, we finally had a bus driver drop us off about 2 blocks away. It was only close to the leaning tower if you have a car!!! We arrived and the owner's girlfriend greeted us and did not speak English but put the owner on the phone. We waited to check in for 45 minutes while he drove from Florence. We waited in the yard which was full of cat poop, green, slimey water in a small pool, items laid around including a floor cleaner and grass about a foot high. We checked in and the room was ok...large and clean but the TV, lamp, DVD player and fan were plugged in via an overloaded extension chord. So much for Italian wiring. Breakfast the next day was awful. Breakfast room was very messy, serve yourself with meusli crumbs everywhere, nothing fresh and instant, make yourself coffee. We could not wait to get out of there and would not recommend this to anyone.

“Great Retreat in Florence”

This clean comfortable B&B afforded a great, quiet night's sleep in a clean, comfortable bed even on the night when the air conditioning would not work. Our visit included five nights. The breakfasts offered were fresh and offered a variety of good choices, with a personalized cup of espresso or cappuchino and seasonal fruit and juices, which was perfect for our days start. Laura and her staff were friendly and as accommodating as they were able to be. We will check for availability here first when we visit the next time.

“No lift, terrible breakfast”

We stayed for 2 nights at this place, the first surprise was carrying our luggage to the second floor, but imagine how difficult it was with high Italian buildings. The host was nice and friendly but confused us with different price for using the Internet every time we asked. The restaurant recommended by the hotel was very nice. We loved it. Breakfast provided by the place was another surprise; even though the room was decorated in a very homey and nice style, the food was unacceptable, we left with empty stomach. Anyway, balancing between price and quality, I probably will stay here again, prepare myself to carry the luggage and have breakfast somewhere else.

“Charming hotel in great location”

This hotel has lots of Italian charm and is clean and comfortable. It was a little hard to find initially because there's only a tiny gold plaque outside the house that identifies it! The rooms are small but very nice, with comfortable beds and nice furniture. The slight downside was that the bathroom in our room was very small and had some mould on the ceiling - but otherwise it was clean. The staff were friendly and helpful, and most spoke adequate English. The breakfast was ample, with cereal, pastries and yoghurts available in a room with a lovely terrace. A definite bonus is that it is only 15-20 minutes walk (at a reasonable pace) from the centre of the old town, and you'll pass some tourist attractions on the way in. I'd definitely recommend this place - it's good value for money.

“Lovely b&b worth what you pay”

We were very happy with this accommodation, in fact the room was very pleasant we were not expecting a four poster bed! Breakfast was nothing special, they could improve by providing some bread instead of the sweet croissants. The family running the b&b were very pleasant and helpful. Location for us was a bit of an issue in that it was a 25 minute walk to the railway station. On the whole though a very pleasant stay.
