Perfect service. The owner graciously let us borrow his Florence travel books and he told us in detail where to go in the city. He even told us where to find the best leather jackets! The hotel is perfectly located--close to everything downtown. Our room was facing a busy street so it was noisy-but that wasn't much of a problem. We had a great stay! I would recommend this place to my friends & family!

Excellent Hotel with Great LocationPublié le 23 juil. 2013 sur Hotels.com
Although getting from the front door to the reception was a little bit confusing (like it is throughout Italy), our room was gigantic and we were literally around the corner from the museum that houses David. The owner/manager was fantastic and very enthusiastic that we enjoy as much of Florence as we could. We took his advice and saw more of Florence than we had planned. We skipped the in-house breakfast in favor of the cafes right down stairs. I would definitely stay here again next time I'm in Florence.

Great BargainPublié le 16 juil. 2013 sur Hotels.com
The hostel more than lived up to our expectations. Convenient arrival with car in a not so car friendly city. The parking garage was situated 2 blocks from the hostel, which meant some walking - however suitcases can be dropped of at the front door beforehand. Only 200 meters to walk to the Il Duomo square. Very friendly and helpful staff. I can easily recommend the hostel for a few nights in Florence.

Great Location, Reasonably pricedPublié le 23 mai 2013 sur Hotels.com
After we arrived (an adventure if one doesn't know Florence with its pedestrian only sections and streets that change names every couple of blocks.--we wound up hiring a taxi to lead us there:-) ) we were warmly received and treated as old friends at this B&B. Both the manager, Osvaldo, and his helper were helpful and friendly. We had the pleasure of meeting the older couple who own the facility and they were equally nice. The brekfast is not much, but is adequate for a slow morning start. Next door to the facility conveniently located is a small, reasonably priced, non-touristy lunch and dinner bistro with good food and a very pleasant, even by Italian high standards, staff. The "Renaissance" lies a two block walk away. We were close to all major sites. I will be back to Florence and this facility.

excellent location, excellent servicePublié le 30 déc. 2012 sur Hotels.com
we really enjoyed our three nights here. we stayed at the beginning of autumn. it was really quite hot in the room at night but we still were able to sleep, and the man down stairs liked to smoke so you'd occasionally get a whiff of it. Other than that the service was great, the room was clean, the b&b was quiet, i didn't even know there were other guests. And a wonderful location. Breakfast was well catered, typical sweet italian (but leave room for lunch and tea around the town!!!) it's easy to find despite other reviews. just look directly for the address. ring the bell for level 4 (i think...) and they will buzz you in. really really good price for the location and comfort.
