Hotel going down hill.

Publié le 12 mai 2015
Les + : Convenient
Les - : General maintenance. Stop removing items that use to be given.
Situation : Sky Train Entertainment areas
I have stayed at this hotel over the last 10 years usually 4 weeks each year. On my recent stay I was very disappointed in the things that have changed. Breakfast buffet: no more cheese for omelets or slices of cheese; no more cheese. No more bacon. Bread now is cheap white or brown for toasting. Room: No more wash cloths and hit an miss on hand towels and never 2 each as it use to be. Black mold in shower grot and on ceiling which was very disturbing. No more seating bench at end of bed. Desk chair has no padding you just sort of fall into the frame The room temperature setting does nothing so the air-condition is really only on or off. The hotel sent a notice and posted it in the elevator that the electricity would be turned off due to some power company work. It was plenty of notice but what they forgot to tell you is that you will not be able to get into you safe during that time. It was very disturbing as I needed money to eat and shop and I could not get into my safe to get my money. No more morning paper delivery. A friend of mine has lived at one of this company's other hotels, Grand President and he said that his hotel has also gone down hill over the last few years too. Seems like the ownership of these properties could care less about maintenance and cleanliness. I doubt very much that I would ever stay at this hotel in the future.

Publié le 12 mai 2015

Les + : Great location, close to many restaurants and Bumrungrad Hospital. The spa is wonderful - I had several massages, a pedicure and a haircut.
The staff was welcoming and helpful. My room was large and comfortable. Excellent breakfast buffet- it had a wide selection of food served in a bright attractive room.

Highly recommended! Great value for money!

Publié le 21 mars 2015
Les + : Room size, Pool, Staff, Guest Friendly, Price
Les - : Rooms are a bit outdated, but make up for it with good size.
Situation : Near Nana station and lots of places to eat nearby.
I stayed the President Solitaire Hotel and Spa in a premier suite for one week as a solo traveler for a holiday/business trip. I was welcomed by the staff as soon as I got to the hotel and the check-in was quite fast. All of the staff I spoke to during my stay were very helpful and polite, especially the night staff. The hotel is in a great location just off Soi 11 and next to a 7/11 store which is very convenient. Although the hotel is at the far end of Soi 11, it offers a free tut tut shuttle service to the very popular Nana sky-train station. I always preferred to walk down the always lively and vibrant Soi 11 which has some great places to eat. I made use of the outdoor pool and gym during my stay which were both satisfactory. The most impressive thing about this hotel was the size of the room compared to other hotels in the area, the room was very large and it was refreshing to come back and sit on your own sofa in the evenings. Overall I would highly recommend this hotel and would happily stay there again. It is great value for money compared to similar hotels in the area.

Publié le 6 mars 2015

Away from Bustling Bangkok

Publié le 22 févr. 2015 sur Hotels.com
Its located at the end of Soi 11 beside a Spa/after Holiday Inn express. Room was clean, but bed need to changed. Bed spring makes a mice sound whenever you turn or roll on it. Decent Breakfast spread.
