« The property was exactly as advertised and contained everything we needed for our stay. The location was very convenient -only 15 mins out of Jindabyne and less than half an hour to Kosciuszko NP. The tiny house was surrounded by bushland and farmland, and there was plenty of wildlife spotting. Craig was welcoming and accommodating, and his thoughtfulness in establishing the accommodation is evident. I would definitely recommend Big Yard Escapes as a peaceful getaway from the city or the grind. »

« Super helpful staff went above and beyond to make our stay easy and comfortable. Being able to rent simple, reliable snow gear directly from Carinya at a very decent rate took a lot of hassle out of our trip. Room was clean and quiet and we loved the bonfire, but the unexpected gem was the restaurant where the friendly, easygoing staff fed us delicious, traditional Indian food at about half the price of what we'd pay in Canberra or Sydney. Thanks team, we'll be back! »

« Loft joliment agencé et moderne. En revanche, l’isolation sonore et thermique ne sont pas adaptés. On pouvait entendre les pas des voisins du dessus et la tuyauterie des voisins de palier. Le chauffage électrique est vieux et peu efficace et fait un bruit de claquement quasi+permanent. Le service de ménage est proche du néant, heureusement que le personnel est malgré tout sympathique. »

« Beautiful scenery and nature. Many kangaroos.Unfortunately the bathroom was very smelly from the moment we arrived. Even with the door closed it was strong throughout the house. We have stayed at many tiny homes with these toilets and never really smelt anything. Please note this did require a 4WD and there are no PowerPoints to charge your phone unless you have a USB charger. »

« Accomodation fit our budget and schedule for a few days. Booking additional car parking is recommended as there was a fair walk from Thredbo with a lot of steps. There is a courtesy bus that we gratefully used after walking Kosciuszko Staff were friendly and helpful and we enjoyed having snacks and drinks in the lounge with the fire (and world cup tv) The drying room was great as our clothes were very wet »
