« This was a very old historical building in as good of a shape as it could be. Some uneven floors and a lot of steps to get to your room. It was small and quiet charming. The staff was pleasant and helpful. A bus stop was right out the side. Very pleasant. The bed was nice, no air conditioning, but it was fairly cool when we went in August, 2026. They had a fan. We are from Florida so the low 70's was a joy for us for August. »

« Loved the old 17th century beams in the rooms and the uneven floors. Property was very quiet - even with the Football World Cup semi-final on while we were there. Staff were all incredibly helpful and loved the breakfast. 100% recommend and would love to take my dog next time as they are very dog friendly (they get a sausage at breakfast!). »
