« We stayed on the Isle of Skye for a week at 6 Knott which was obsoletely idea for exploring the island. It's located just a 15 minute drive north of Portree (the main town) making it very central and accessible to most areas of interest. The cottage is located on a very quiet lane with views over the hills and the loch. It has a secure garden which was great for the dog. It is spacious with a kitchen/ dining room, two living rooms, one with a wood burner and one with an open fire, downstairs...

It's far from the crowds, but the nearby Stein Inn is the perfect place for a nice dinner if you don't feel like cooking. If you are cooking, they even have a lovely herb garden for your use.
