« We had a wonderful stay and love the Old Church. Beautiful views and the rooms are lovely. We had a great lobster dinner on our first night there with a freshly delivered catch! « Heaven on earth is how I describe Isle of Skye and this place helped cement my feeling about it. The house is adorable and had plenty of space for our group of 5. We enjoyed our stay very much and particularly enjoyed the views of Loch Caroy in the morning and in the evening. We would easily stay here again if we return to Isle of Skye. The only things we would suggest for future guests is to be sure to bring some extra toilet paper and paper towels/ napkins with you. »

« Tides was an amazing property for our Isle of Skye visit. Between watching the weather roll in and out, the views across the bay, the sunsets and the rainbows, this location was excellent. « Wonderful setting, beautiful views. Not near grocery so come well stocked. Lovely coffee yurt a couple miles down the road. The house was as-advertised and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Only hiccup was that we never received check-in instructions or an access code despite leaving emails and a voicemail 2 days in advance…so we drove 4 hours to a locked house on a weekend. Thankfully someone picked up when we called from the house and gave us the access code. I’m sure this was not a typical...

« The cottage is very quaint. There was a little confusion over laundry facilities as the description said there was a dryer but in actuality there wasn’t. However the owner quickly responded when we messaged her. The farmer next door is a delight to chat with. He’s a lifelong resident and he shared a lot of stories about growing up there. It was also fun walking down to the water and finding treasures down at the shore. »

« We loved Macaulay cottage - it’s in a great location for visiting the many wonderful beaches and bays on Harris. The cottage has everything you need and the owners are really helpful. It was a great place to return to after a day out. Some of the well known walks (Scholars path and coffin trail) start from the cottage or nearby. We enjoyed kayaking with seals in the the bay by the cottage. »
