« Our visit to The Painted Porch was fantastic. The home, neighborhood and time of year made for a perfect getaway with our dogs. We enjoyed the historic nature of the property, and appreciated that it was well appointed, maintained, clean and comfortable for modern life. « This is a nice, cozy property. Great location near many wineries. Close enough for a day trip to waterfalls. It's pet friendly, which was great for our 2 small dogs. The beds are very comfortable. There was plenty of space for the 6 of us to eat a meal or play games around the large dinning room table. The kitchen was well stocked and great for making pizzas and cooking breakfast. « We were looking for a comfortable place to spend time while exploring around the Finger Lakes region - and this was just the place. The location allowed us to easily travel to various wineries, restaurants, and sites around the area. Nothing is walkable, but the drive was easy. We spent an entire afternoon/evening just hanging out on the front porch enjoying the clear sky, beautiful weather, and quiet neighborhood. « Location is really nice, view is super, beds were comfortable. We mostly enjoyed our stay. Probably won't stay again due to few small things that really diminished the overall experience and stress. We could not wash our clothes, big deal for a family packing limited clothes. Washer and dryer look to be from 1982. Electric stove worked but we could never get the pans hot enough to cook food in a timely manner. The dishwasher leaked, it was newer model but we got through that one.Should address...
