« Wonderful forest retreat with a stunning porch view. Clean and accurate to the posting and further from the road than it appeared which was nice because you weren't hearing the limited road traffic. Secluded, yet a short drive to town and shopping. The arcade game, ping pong and air hockey, were a nice touch for when rain kept us inside. The host was east to deal with and I would recommend this to anyone. « The property was nicely decorated and very clean. Also nicely located on the water. The owners communicated well and seemed friendly in their messages. Two things would make the property better - bug screens on more windows so they can be left open and light blocking blinds in one of the bedrooms. Main issue is the unfortunate fact the train track is close and I woke up twice from trains passing in the middle of the night. »

« Absolutely beautiful house! We stayed during a snowy weekend for a small birthday gathering, which was serene and peaceful. The views of the lake were particularly stunning, and it was a great setting to relax in nature. The host was communicative and attentive, taking care of an issue with a frozen water line promptly so we were still able to enjoy our stay.
