« The property is located on the outskirts of Tannersville. The location is very close to hiking including the iconic Kaaterskill Falls. Unfortunately, the location is overshadowed by a very disappointing property. Its essentially run down motel in the back of a closed restaurant with a for sale sign out front. The building was not very clean and no staff were on site. The pictures are also a bit misleading as the restaurant is now closed and the grounds have deteriorated since the closure. The...

« Over several years of renting in the Valatie area, this house was the nicest place we’ve stayed. It’s well appointed and has a really nice view of the lake.The owner is very responsive to any issue that arises. Hope to return! »

« We were seven adults and could have comfortably fit at least two more people. The lake access and accessories were awesome especially with three really hot days during our stay. The AC worked great, which I really appreciated. We took advantage of the community pool and Pickleball courts and had a lot of fun with them. « We thoroughly enjoyed our time at the Cliffside Chalet! The home is so thoughtfully curated and beautifully maintained. It is clearly well loved!The view is spectacular, easily enjoyed from the hot tub. The home is well situated nearby many hiking trails and hunter Mountain. It’s also right across from Deer Mountain Inn, a fabulous restaurant and bar!We cannot wait to plan another visit! »
