The location was great and we had a wonderful time.I truly wished we extended our stay for a little long. « Vanderkamp was the ideal setting for small family 50th Anniversay celebration. Although the weather wasn’t perfect, we were able to be outside for 2 of our 4 days – hiking, paddleboarding, canoeing, fishing, and playing yard games. « We had a great time at this property! The house is beautiful ! The kitchen is all labeled so very easy to find things and get acquainted with the set up . Views are beautiful and we really enjoyed sitting on the back porch looking out at lake - hot tub is great too for further relaxation! Communication with the owner Tolu was just great - answered all questions before I even asked! Response was immediate if I did have any questions . Highly recommend this property and would definitely stay here...

« There was a winter storm that came through, but we expected nothing less, The owner was out of town, but his nephew who was caring for the place made sure that the snow was cleared and we were not stuck. We couldn’t have asked for more. My kids and I had such a wonderful time. »

It was comfortable with lots of room to spread out; there are two large eating spaces, a large living room, and plenty of bathrooms. It is older, but was very clean and we were provided everything that we needed to enjoy our stay.
