« This is a very authentic hotel/pub. A bit dated but we enjoyed it. The staff were very friendly, breakfast was good - full English :-) coffee tasty! And the best if you travel by bus from Ryde the bus stop is direct in front of the pub door! The hotel is as well very close to the Osborne House. »

« There was no wardrobe or desk in the room The shower was magnificent The staff were superlative Obviously there is no lift as it is an old building not the staff took my luggage to the room The location is excellent For a single male the accommodation is fine but I imagine ladies would expect more comfort I had a wonderful stay and the staff were wonderful »

« Perfect location looking across the Esplanade to the sea front. Excellent food served all day in a relaxed atmosphere by attentive staff. This great venue attracted a lot on non-resident customers and there was a real buzz as guests enjoyed their relaxed meal eating great food and enjoying a wide variety from the bar.. « Stayed here with 16 members of the family, aged 10 months to over 70. Games room was perfect, very well stocked kitchen , bedrooms were good, in general the property needs a hug, tired in places. The beaches are accessible by only the sure footed, and we’re not suitable to sit on as there was evidence of rock falls.having said that the coastal walks were perfect »

« A perfect stay for us, with 3 families and a range of ages there was something for everybody to do, including relaxing in the absolutely beautiful gardens! Very well supplied with everything you could need, and didn't feel too 'precious' so that you were worried about using things! »

« Loved staying at the French Mill. The Romany Wagon was definitely an added bonus for the girls. It gave them a truly magical and memorable experience. Ideally located and charming holiday rental property for visiting the island. Only sorry not to have been able to actually meet our host Rebecca who was very communicative and helpful before and during our stay.. we were also pretty fortunate with the weather.
